based on his story. what i could say is that the battery connection is loose.
this is one of forte owner experience. not a major issue if really connection issue.

when in showroom/car yard, they took out the battery cable. and re-install back during delivery time. but they did not connect them properly. intermittent prob & suddenly car back okay is similar i could say. just tighten back the battery terminal connection will do the job.

hope this is the issue here. so just chill for a while la. wait for his updated news.

We shall wait first without coming out with different conclusion and assumption, but if battery connection lose, dont you think Proton technical support too dumb to rectify it onsite rather than take the car wayy back to KL?

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Nov 22 2010, 07:00 PM)
guys,

Are the doors and interior THAT bad compared to the lancer?

I havent been in a lancer, as in ipoh, there arent any in the showroom at the moment.

Especially the doors, are they that bad? it worries me if they left out safety bars that should have been there..
*
QUOTE(kapultek @ Nov 22 2010, 07:04 PM)
Not so bad comapre to lancer, u can go to mitsubishi..almost same quality for me,the plastic interior also almost same
*
Go test both, and choose based on your preference.

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 22 2010, 07:19 PM)
Maybe the batteries is Japan spec (the one with small terminal) which tend to loose and even breaks in our climate (several friend who brought back cars from Japan experience this).
*
They ship back the battery made for Malaysia, because it is marked for Malaysia, not Japan.

those who plan to change from cvt to mt, better buy 1.8mt straight la.. save all the headache & $$$.. plus the 1.8mt can catch up with 2.0cvt..

nowadays manual tranny is like a premium for performance junkies.. so inspira 1.8 mt is like a godsend already.. lol.. why go after the cvt?

anyway.. i wonder what engine oil weight do the 4B10 & 4B11 engines use? 5w-30? 5w-40? thanks..
*
I'm interested in the 1.8 MT.... planning planning brows.gif

Btw, nobody answered my question yet. Anyone of you know how much it cost to install a Evo10 bodykit? Thanks notworthy.gif

no. it's not dumb but customer oriented move.
same goes to forte, even smaller things also they wont treat it easy.

better they take back and rectify everything.
what happened if its just coincident that the battery loose but the main problem lies elsewhere?

the product just launch. they cannot take things easily. smile.gif

VW sirocco also has vacuum door... no need mers la... too expensive... dun think negative, i just share what i feels about inspira only, btw, i din think to buy inspira or lancer neither. The price like this the door should have done better la, dugong door is more easy to close compare with this one... other than that it's nice... but i think proton should come out with SE, cause the current edition the spoiler is way too small... and the bodykits also not so eyecathing, lancer spoiler is much much bigger and mean... maybe inspira owner can buy lancer bodykit to fit on inspira... lancer spoiler is nice!

To be frank, you sounded like a fanboy / fangirl already, first hand resolution is a must on any technical support job, why need to waste customer's time when can resolve it onsite, on that time? In real life, when your car breakdown, you call a mechanic, mechanic for sure run up first hand resolution, if cannot solve, then only tow to garage, what say you if your car breakdown, mechanic come and tow it straight away? Of course you will be really piss off! Dont even check but straight away tow? Unless it is something else.

lolz. i just giving example then say i'm fanboy? yes i'm a fanboy of inspira thats why i'm here.
is there any words that wrong on my post? none. and you think proton mechanic all superb? even if they able to fix it, but if ask by the management to send back for further check how?

if you said bout existing car, yes. your point is valid there. but this is inspira. new model that just had launched.
and the most nearest possibility is the battery terminal. not me alone that stating that possibility, a few others also mention the same thing.

chill dude. now you're the one who make yourself like a fanboy.

You somehow agreed you are a fanboy, and dude, it is a CKD except for some interior, bumper, seats, suspension, rims, clarion, steering, auto headlamp, auto wiper and anti-trap, what is so new about it?

let say we all take it down a notch and chill a bit..no need of any name callings & mud slinging..to be honest, we dont even know what actually happened and everything mostly under our own assumption...just let this pan out a bit..what we need now is more information to the matter. everybody have their own opinion..let wait for the owner to tell us the updates on this okay..

anyway..for those who keep on asking about mitsu emblems lar..evo x bodykit lar..i believe most of us here couldnt be bothered to do those stuff anymore, we've already beyond that of the days of bodykitting or putting big decals on our car (well..for me at least)..

It seemed there were many complaints by the lucky (err not so lucky) owner. So, I think rather than fixed it on the spot, P is not taking any chances and they may want a thorough check up.. Like mentioned previously, this is a newly product launch. Any unattended complaints will seriously affects the order.. As we know they are many who are still undecided or 50/50 in deciding Inspira..

So let us wait for the outcome n not speculate anymore..
