1 out of 11 is not a good number.
10 of 110. 100 of 1100. 1000 of 11000. |

QUOTE(zoomckng @ Nov 22 2010, 10:34 PM) well. if u put it that way. but then again. it can also be for the next 989 there's still that just 1 problem. thus, its 1 out of 1000. Well, hopefully thats the case becoz we will never know unless they already send 1000 cars to customer right. the proper way is to wait at least 3 - 6 monts to actually get the stats. |

QUOTE(rewlie @ Nov 22 2010, 09:36 PM) To be frank, you sounded like a fanboy / fangirl already, first hand resolution is a must on any technical support job, why need to waste customer's time when can resolve it onsite, on that time? In real life, when your car breakdown, you call a mechanic, mechanic for sure run up first hand resolution, if cannot solve, then only tow to garage, what say you if your car breakdown, mechanic come and tow it straight away? Of course you will be really piss off! Dont even check but straight away tow? Unless it is something else. LoL you sounded like pro mechanics, do you? i bet you didn't even know that that the the prob of that inspira is coz by loose connection of battery. FYI, When there is prob with electronic not all mechanic is qualified to solve the prob onsite, they will opt to let the expert do it. That the way it shuold be done. And it is a new car for them. Taipan give a very valid point why the SC took very high precaution. and they're not backyard garage as what you think. |

U guys go bonkers over small things that doesn't even hold any truth yet..lets Speculate lah.. Its fine..maybe constructive even...but Dun go calling out fanboys or whatever to someone who's just trying to speculate... It's a forum.. Not a "i know better than you all" arena... Its pissing ppl off... Be cool not a fool...however,pls speculate with a shred of dignity... E.g.: 1/11 does not statistically mean 10/110...11 samples are hardly samples to begin with... Good try...the proper way is to wait at least 3 - 6 monts to actually get the stats. |

QUOTE(Sarguna @ Nov 22 2010, 10:21 PM) Yup. I may reconsider. Remember the owner is one of the "lucky 11". Their cars are part of P big product launching and the event was highlighted in media and the top brass were there to witness. And yet the lucky (and now not so lucky) owner has problem with the car!!! How could this be?.. sheshhhh. If I am the CEO I would have dismantled the whole section..! |

He's just asking why have to bring to SC IF only battery prob.. I say.. Better be sure then sorry.. Since they're willing to do an indepth check, let them lah.. Rather than fixing the obvious then finding out underlying probs later.. Still.. Personal pref.. Up to you lah.. Fix batt (if it is!!) and go home.. Or ask them to check betul2!!! HohoTaipan give a very valid point why the SC took very high precaution. and they're not backyard garage as what you think. |

People are jumping on the slightest chance to have a go at Proton and Inspira - nothing new here. They have basically covered all defects/problems a car can have even before the car is delivered and on the road. So when the defects or problems were reported in the future, they will again jump on the chance to say "Remember? I've told you so!" So guys let it be. Life will continue, no point arguing about who is breathing the better air.

Airbox
![]() I forgot what is this call ![]() Aircond Compressor ![]() Brake Servo ![]() Everyone big time favour...GEARBOX CODE. ![]() * From Wiki * For the United States, the new Lancer was initially available in DE, ES, and GTS trim levels.[18] DE, ES, and GTS models are powered by a GEMA based 4B11, 2.0 liter DOHC engine producing 152 hp (113 kW) (except for California models which have been detuned to 143 hp (107 kW) to meet regulations). Transmission options include a brand new CVT, sourced from Jatco (code: F1CJA), alongside a regular 5-speed manual sourced from Aisin AI (code: F5MBB). GTS models get a 6-speed paddle shift version of the CVT. Kosong punya. By ANY chance PROTON putting Tweeter ? ![]() |
