Thanks for staying level headed. You have my respect. But can everyone stop this "butthurt" word? LOL. Can't you say dissapointed, or sad, or angry or furious peeved or livid or whatever else you can think of. "butthurt" implies one gets raped from behind, and even if you don't mean to degrade anyone, by using the word, you already did.

Anyway, I think it would be cool if someone could compare the 2.0 Inspira to the 2.0 Sylphy. The Sylphy's CVT is really really excellent. I feel nothing of the "rubber band" effect some people relate to CVTs. Engage the sport mode, and it can really run! Tap the accelerator and it responds almost immediately.

BTW, there's a possibility my manual can arrive next week  whistling.gif The SA or the center is refusing to sell me the car cash, so... I'm taking the smallest loan possible. As soon as that's done, they said the car can probably be delivered.  thumbup.gif

they are stupid or what? usually u have the upper hand.
just threat them that you're gonna buying other car if cannot pay cash.

u guys should start making noise from now okay. don't wait until last min and then they deliver your cars late (next year).
which is will void the t&c on free 2 years maintenance.

pressure them to give free maintenance for this year booking (maybe until end of November booking) and not depending on when your car will be delivered.

just my opinion.

ahem.... what is this jap trying to say????  rclxub.gif
*
it means that even Lancer is CBU from Japan, they are developing the lancer to fully meet the quality standard in EU, US and Japan.
in which for each region got the most important aspect for them to meet in penetrating the market. each market is unique.

EU = market more towards high-speed driving performance and handling
US = safety (as a must to meet certain level)
JP = vehicle built (material used, durability, etc)

When all talking happily about keeping the proton logo, I would say - by the way, will the proton logo get decolourised or oxidised ? I see ALOT proton badges from Saga BLM, Persona etc .. the badges all become yellowish already.. so ugly sad.gif

bro, try spray additional clear coat. either spray it on the car (cover the car body) or take out lor. later put back by using 3M tape.

Inspiraclub.com - 11 OTR Inspira Owner

based on his story. what i could say is that the battery connection is loose.
this is one of forte owner experience. not a major issue if really connection issue.

when in showroom/car yard, they took out the battery cable. and re-install back during delivery time. but they did not connect them properly. intermittent prob & suddenly car back okay is similar i could say. just tighten back the battery terminal connection will do the job.

hope this is the issue here. so just chill for a while la. wait for his updated news.

We shall wait first without coming out with different conclusion and assumption, but if battery connection lose, dont you think Proton technical support too dumb to rectify it onsite rather than take the car wayy back to KL?
Go test both, and choose based on your preference.
They ship back the battery made for Malaysia, because it is marked for Malaysia, not Japan.
*
no. it's not dumb but customer oriented move.
same goes to forte, even smaller things also they wont treat it easy.

better they take back and rectify everything.
what happened if its just coincident that the battery loose but the main problem lies elsewhere?

the product just launch. they cannot take things easily. smile.gif

To be frank, you sounded like a fanboy / fangirl already, first hand resolution is a must on any technical support job, why need to waste customer's time when can resolve it onsite, on that time? In real life, when your car breakdown, you call a mechanic, mechanic for sure run up first hand resolution, if cannot solve, then only tow to garage, what say you if your car breakdown, mechanic come and tow it straight away? Of course you will be really piss off! Dont even check but straight away tow? Unless it is something else.
*
lolz. i just giving example then say i'm fanboy? yes i'm a fanboy of inspira thats why i'm here.
is there any words that wrong on my post? none. and you think proton mechanic all superb? even if they able to fix it, but if ask by the management to send back for further check how?

if you said bout existing car, yes. your point is valid there. but this is inspira. new model that just had launched.
and the most nearest possibility is the battery terminal. not me alone that stating that possibility, a few others also mention the same thing.

chill dude. now you're the one who make yourself like a fanboy.

no lah, because need to pay tax..all car must pay tax except those in tax-free zone  laugh.gif
*
and why no such thing heard for other car models?
so far i only heard this case on forte and inspira.

current owner can clarify this.. what is stated on the geran (import or tempatan)? and do you received any document on AP?
if got either one then car is CBU. if don't have so its CKD.
then can stop all those CBU talk ler.
