Hi Kenneth,

Usually once it decided to hang, it will brought down the entire network (Computers or any devices connected within the network are down), ping to any of devices are not possible. So to log on the Asus router for captured log file will not be possible. Power down the Asus router will bring up the network link. I do encounter many times the Asus router fail to authenticate to log on the Unifi’s network after a power failure. Have to power down for it to go online again. I do not have problem with other routers in event of a power failure. Hope these hanging scenarios will help them to resolve the problem.

hmm saw that the download and upload was reduced.

i am connected at 300mbps and the n66 transmitting at 300mbps.
a bit suprised cause thought i had more than enough bandwidth.

Hang again after four days operation. After a year releasing so many firmwares still could not resolve the problem of hang. Whoever working on the firmware are patching it based on try and error basis. Asus should either consider end of life the RT-N13U or retiring the programmers for a better programmers to solve the problem.

Whoever intend to purchase ASUS router for Unifi, Please do not consider RT-N13U router until Asus have solve the problem.

the RT-N13 is everywhere around all local computer stores. you can never miss the sight of it wherever you go. if you go to lowyat major shops. the prod is easily accessible in mass quantity like mountain. or should i say people's choice? for one good reason because of affordability.

Thank you for responding Toh.

I suspect the maxis deck phone can be connected at the fibre optic btu. (Same as unifi maaa .. tongue.gif)

How do I connect the rtn56u please? Appreciate if you will guide me.

The thomson router is better than the unifi dlink router, but it is definitely not as good as the asus smile.gif

Thank you.

only tm deck phone connects to fiber btu. ownership of btu is tm not maxis. hence why maxis deck connects to thomson.

u can use manual setting on special requirement by ISP instead of unifi. where u key VID for maxis. i m not sure anyone tested this. you can give it try..

as for maxis phone to btu. will hv to acess the btu. most ppl including myself are still figuring out.

but if any issues with btu & tm found out the cause was device tampering. do expect some legal issues per service terms.

Hi Kenneth,
I am also having no connection at times. My original firmware was 8.X.X.X for my RT-N13U Bversion. KLSEET setup the firware. After having the lost connection problem which can happen from every 2 days I upgraded to the Version RT-N13U.RB_2.0.2.5g but it was okay for about 5 days only. I can even access to the ASUS 192.168.1.1 page. I need to reboot and it will be okay for 1 or two days.

So can I upgrade to RT-N13U.RB_9.1.2.5I or to the 2.0.2.5H version? Sorry ..me newbie.

Thanks

RT-N13U.RB_9.1.2.5I is the latest than RT-N13U.RB_2.0.2.5H.

But u can try both see which 1 is more stable.

Thank you. rclxms.gif

Is Time, only UNIFI show under special requirement from ISP so I doubt it can support.
