why would your warranty be void, the firmware is available for download from asus website

I am on RT-N13 beta firmware.
Having issues with IPTV.
Is it due to the DNS as I have changed it to Google DNS.
Any advise as SetupBox failed to acquire IP and shows failure with some error code.

I have to say I am quite frustrated with all the new betas as well and I too do not dare to recommend people to buy N13.

However, for those who already bought it, I have no problem running it using the oldest firmware in klseet website, see my previous post.

RT-N13U really sucks.

Didn't really search online for reviews before I bought it yesterday. Came with stock 2.0.2.0 and I pandai pandai upgrade to 2.0.2.5G. Disconnected after a 4 hours. Then flash to 2.0.2.5H. Was ok for a while and then disconnected again.

Now back to 2.0.2.0 for about 3 hours. So called 24/7 BT stalled at 473 MB / 8.6GB. Internet / IPTV still ok.

Main reason for buying is the 24/7 BT so that I don't have to leave my computer on. It's completely useless.

I wonder if Harvey Norman gives refunds.

Really regret.

Hang after around 4 days.
No IPTV and can't access router. Have to switch off and on router.

I try to replace Cisco E1000 with RT-N66u on Astro IPTV braodband but failed. The WAN link just cannot connect even I try many times with the astro ID and password. Any one experience this? Can it support Astro IPTV?

anyone can guide me how to make ASUS RT-N13U as repeator? I tried to connect but it keep redirect me to the Asus landing page.

I'm using RT-N56U on my Maxis Fibre. I understand that I can't totally replace the default Thomson router, so I am just connecting it for the wifi and file sharing capability.

Question is, what mode is best suited for this Asus router? AP mode? Router mode? Any other settings that is recommended?

In my case, I hv modified the settings on the VDSL modem ( not sure about fiberhome setup) that will split the PPPOE and IPTV on different LAN ports..and will be running DD-WRT if I plan to purchase the RT-N16..

gosh, i using rt-n53 now,

not matter how many time i tried, i setup the password correctly, select special isp requirement and choose unifi home, using with dir-615 is working but using asus is failed..totally wasted 5-6 hours of mine

I still stuck on Firmware 2.0.2.0 with wifi disabled 40mhz.
So far it didn't hang, but it will slow down the files transfer between PC in the network after few days.

I have tested the  2.0.2.5F and  2.0.2.5o, both have the same problems.
If enable wifi with 20/40mhz hang within a day and disable 40mhz, may last 2-3 days.

I got it working!
Turns out I was putting 822 and 823 in the wrong order - because in the router IPTV setting it is listed as LAN4 first and LAN3 - I missed that big time!
