QUOTE(Wan @ Sep 7 2010, 09:02 PM) My unifi just went down sometime in the morning today. My bro was on the internet before he went to sleep at 4am. He said it was fine that time. But I woke up near 7am and found that the connection is down. VOIP and that TV thing also fail on me. The Huawei only got two lights, the power and Lan1 lights turned on. Kinda frustrating being close to Raya. I won't be at home, but then when I get back, it won't be fix still.. arrgh! You are not alone. Mine also went down this morning. It was ok yesterday night. Called the CS so many times, no one answered. Finally around 6.30pm managed to make a report on that problem. I'm near Lapangan Terbang Subang. No VOIP, no internet, no IPTV. Just checked again now and everything seems to be back in order. Btw, I'm in TTDI.

Does anyone here know of a Unifi contractor I can call to rewire my internal fiber optics? I called TM Unifi, they said they'd get a contractor to call me, and it's been 2 to 3 weeks since, and my house contractor really needs the fiber optic rewired before he can proceed with certain things.

I;m in Bangsar Park and my UNIFI failed on me today...
It was ok this morning before work, now the Dlink wireless is showing an orange LED status light on the globe icon, which i think shows the status of internet connection... Called the call centre, was given a report number and mentioned they are supposed to call me back within 24 hours...
my phone is also dead, can't check IPTV coz they have yet to install the box for me... GERAMZZZZ....

It's like UNIFI is having a PERIOD or something like that... In regard to your ping test, i tested it last week, was pleased when it returned a 0ms response... hmmmmm, wonder what the heck can be happening... Not only my internet connection died, the phone as well... My VOIP has been down the last few days, today I logged in to the BTU to take a look. My SIP number and password were correct, but there was an entry "jack" below that ...
I unticked "enable" on that account, and applied the settings and immediately my VOIP light came back up, and I had a dial tone and could dial in and out. Since I didn't make a backup of the config after installation, I'm not sure if that entry should be there at all ... though I suspect not. Can anyone confirm?

There should only be 1 active SIP profile. Guess the BTUs really are being broken into. Looks like TM is about to realize how important it is not to leave everything open. Serves them right for not listening IMO Edit : 'Jack' is not a valid authname at all and is likely just the tag this skiddy is leaving behind. how is this huawei thingy different from the fiberhome and dlink combination i have now?
I can only access the dlink and uncheck the remote management and change the passwords of admin and operator, haven't been daring enough to change anything else...
