I only detected those consistent unknown random ports try to comes in my WHR-G300N router through vlan.500 for internet only, yes that's why I'm concern ...

Guess what, they just called me, they confirmed that IP 110.159.xxx.248 is actually belongs to them  shocking.gif
The CS staff can't explain why anymore and now is escalating to his superior to call me to explain further .....

I think I'm in for surprises, again ... sweat.gif

CS supervisor called and said my case now transferred to their internal "Abuse Team" for investigation, he can't tell when ..... shakehead.gif yawn.gif
Anyone heard about this TM "Abuse Team" ??

You can check the price here:
http://www.asashi.com.my/webshaper/store/v...t.asp?catID=380

There is also pricing for the 1810G model, for those who want gigabit speed.

If you are planning to use these switches, please update the firmware to the latest one as the older firmware got some bugs.

Are you refer to HP ProCurve Switch 1700-8 (8 ports switch)? And it is RM300? Ex-stock from Ingram? If yes, it is a good buy. I think you guy can use this to substitute the Mikrotek RB250GS.

I just emailed them over the weekend and a sales rep got back to me.. i asked them any indication of when the 250GS arriving because its currently out ofstock..

Below is his reply:
So seems like no indication or solid date as yet.

Bringing it over from SG.. doubt it will have tax because routers falls under computer items which is exempted from tax isnt it?

I seriously want this switch because the dir-615 is totally unreliable.

Has anyone encounter their dlink router died even when using it as a switch??
*
There should be no tax because its a computer item, and no SIRIM issue as it doesn't have any wireless radios.

My unifi just went down sometime in the morning today. My bro was on the internet before he went to sleep at 4am. He said it was fine that time. But I woke up near 7am and found that the connection is down. VOIP and that TV thing also fail on me. The Huawei only got two lights, the power and Lan1 lights turned on. Kinda frustrating being close to Raya. I won't be at home, but then when I get back, it won't be fix still.. arrgh!

I lost my VDSL sync at 9PM (6th Sep 2010), VDSL sync came back at 9AM (7th Sep 2010).

Speed is capped at 2.xmB/s (Torrent, DDL, Speedtest)
IPTV stutter like there's no tomorrow

Great!

Oh ya, everytime I turn off my VDSL modem and turn it back on, the first time it took me 12 hours to get back the sync, the second time took me 2 hours.

I am getting frequent disconnections and huge amount of packet loss. is this what we call fiber optic or plastic optic?
