Hi everyone. First time posting here. Thanks to rizvanrp for the tutorials. I have one problem with my Unifi. The caller ID is not displayed on my phone. I have called Unifi regarding this but till now not solved. I wonder other users got the Caller ID or not...
The customer care told me that the service is free and will activate. but i have called 4 times yet keep on saying the same thing.....

QUOTE(rayap @ Aug 26 2010, 10:04 PM) Is Caller ID really working? In my case initially was showing Private Number, after I called to activate CLIP it started showing "Out of Area". Now I am told they have a technical glitch that will only be resolved till end Setpember 10. Mine also no caller id. I have called them 5 to 6 times. Yet still not there.

QUOTE(y2k @ Sep 6 2010, 08:37 PM) VOIP - Still down. Internet - OK for surfing (I guess) Downloading - Files STILL CORRUPTED. Compensation is definitely in order. I just fixed my VOIP. The VOIP settings in Huawei BTU some how changed to another phone number. Changed the number & password and its working.

QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Sep 6 2010, 10:36 PM) I'm not too sure what they can achieve with your SIP login details as I don't use the technology much.. but causing a DoS on all 3 of your Unifi services is very easy just by accessing the BTU. They should not be able to use the BTU to break into your internal network as long as your router is secured properly. I've just changed my Fiberhome admin login/pass and disabled its telnet daemon.. still figuring out how to write the changes to the startup config. I'd release a guide but many people will not be able to do it as it requires a Console cable. Do tell me if its possible to permanently secure the Huawei/Alcatel BTUs through the web UI though Edit : The BTUs can only be accessed through the VOIP network AFAIK so if someone has changed your configuration (and it's not some glitch by TM), it's definitely being done by other Unifi users. With sip login details, they can make calls using our numbers and TM is going to bill us.. Please advice how to protect the BTU ......

QUOTE(Wan @ Sep 7 2010, 09:02 PM) My unifi just went down sometime in the morning today. My bro was on the internet before he went to sleep at 4am. He said it was fine that time. But I woke up near 7am and found that the connection is down. VOIP and that TV thing also fail on me. The Huawei only got two lights, the power and Lan1 lights turned on. Kinda frustrating being close to Raya. I won't be at home, but then when I get back, it won't be fix still.. arrgh! You are not alone. Mine also went down this morning. It was ok yesterday night. Called the CS so many times, no one answered. Finally around 6.30pm managed to make a report on that problem. I'm near Lapangan Terbang Subang.
