This is direct E27 replacement bulb, so the driver is inside and making it less reliable due to heat. The normal LED strip and LED downlight driver are outside, is still generate heat.

This LG(Korea) we got is quite an amazing product. The heatsink part is made of magnesium alloy, thus they claim to be very good heat dissipation. Also they guarantee 2 yrs warranty! That's why we grab this deal. Also the importer is supplying to the local govt project, now already used >1k pcs. Balance, we try to market for them.
The LEd is new technology, COB - chip on board. Attached some useful info, hope you guys can enjoy it.
Attached File  LGIT_Sales_Presentation_v.31_p1_10.pdf ( 1.74mb ) Number of downloads: 94

Osram has a quite similar product(but 1yr warranty) which we will be selling soon. Cheaper, @Rm55. Will get more info and upload.

this product shown needs a driver to light it. Normally, the one with the inbuilt driver is longer, like in this picture, but this is screw head. See the part with the white portion, this is where the driver is.

There are so many variants nowadays, but not a single one can claim they are reliable. Prices can range from RM10-RM20. frankly, these LED can beat the halogen on low power consumption, but the halogen is on its own when it comes to producing a perfect ambience lighting. A lot of designers vouch for this, that is why they always recommend halogen. But too bad, they are energy guzzlers tongue.gif .

for chandelier, you should consider using these LEDs, still a bit pricy @RM28, but only 3w, compared to the usual incandescent with a min of 25W. comes in white light too. But, these LEDs are not for illumination purpose if you think of lighting up an area. Unless you have many bulbs, they are not bright enough.

Downlights are just too common nowadays. I think they're gonna be out of fashion soon due to overuse. sad.gif

will get you more details, all china made. supplier warranty 6mths, but 3w bulbs like these normally not so much problem compared to the LED downlights, with lots of problems with the driver
