QUOTE(leeyung @ Feb 17 2012, 09:08 AM) LED generates very less heat, this is correct but not for the driver, the driver will generate a lot of heat, even more than energy saving bulb sorry but i cant help it, what is driver? what to type in google about this 'driver'.. i was blurred when u guys talked about driver la, fengshui la..durability very depends on the driver, most of the time driver kaput one |

QUOTE(leeyung @ Feb 17 2012, 09:17 AM) Driver is used to power up your LED, LED is a light emitting diode in which can be powered up by DC voltage only, therefore driver is needed, it is a self-contained power supply that has outputs matched to the electrical characteristics of your LED, consist of AC to DC converter and hence the loss will be turned to heat and spread around i tot the bulb is plug and play... fuu.. like e14 size led bulb... simply screwed in and ok d. |

QUOTE(mkow @ Feb 17 2012, 10:49 PM) for chandelier, you should consider using these LEDs, still a bit pricy @RM28, but only 3w, compared to the usual incandescent with a min of 25W. comes in white light too. But, these LEDs are not for illumination purpose if you think of lighting up an area. Unless you have many bulbs, they are not bright enough. mid to share where i can get rm28 per bulb at kl? china made? got risk of reliability or not?[attachmentid=2690040] |

hi all, im a noob in this electrical thingy.
my round type light(circle light) not working. i already change the bulb but still not working. now the only remains is the electonic ballast. do i hav to change it, and if i need to buy a new one, do i have to follow the exact spefication or i can choose 40w 20w up to me? fyi the bulb is 32 watt. and it is really hard for me to find electronic ballast 32 watt. and another problem is i dunno which one is electronic ballast and which one is the normal one. i went to ace hardware, the ballast that they sell is different in shape (boxy instead of round type as per my light's ballast) sorry for my english. please help!! |
