Centurionstareng, Noticed that two type of 3W LED, one is cost around RM65 another is around RM100, price differential due to number of LED in the bulb. Is this same on your product?

QUOTE(JockMatGuy @ May 19 2011, 11:24 AM) The seller said that the led light is more bright than the normal bulk. my living room is 15x24 ft and he suggested that 5pcs 3W or 4pcs 4W will do. I doubt .... any sifu can comment? Have you check out from those light show how it (similar) look like? It not suitable for replace downlight except facing the wall..it too bright when look direct.

4" covered small area, 6" covered bigger area. But since you have 6-8 in a room, guess 4" will be good.
rule is 1.5 feets from wall and distance between two light around 3-4 feets...ask those light shop they will able to give you advice.

QUOTE(weikee @ Aug 23 2011, 01:23 PM) Get brand like GE, Philips, Osram and some good brand. Don't get the china unknown brand. Last i ask 4' is about RM 25, but this is after i brought nearly 1.4k of switches from them. Normal i think is around 28+- for 4' 28watt. The HO type is more expensive but not many people selling. Where the shop? Maybe dropby to check

QUOTE(mkow @ Feb 17 2012, 10:49 PM) for chandelier, you should consider using these LEDs, still a bit pricy @RM28, but only 3w, compared to the usual incandescent with a min of 25W. comes in white light too. But, these LEDs are not for illumination purpose if you think of lighting up an area. Unless you have many bulbs, they are not bright enough. [attachmentid=2690040] It will be good if have those Yellow or Red colou which could use on Pray table light

QUOTE(Escaflowne @ Mar 20 2012, 12:37 AM) Hi, I have a question regarding T5 as I got a quotation from contractor for each t5 point. example lets say 10 T5 light - Price per point times 10 [attachmentid=2746348] Seems to me from post above T5 only need 2 light point ? I wonder maybe if I was conned by this contractor. Please help to verify. thanks Not sure about what the quoatation given, but one light point could interconnect up to 5-6 T5 (4 feets T5), and each T5 have Female / Male connection which allow connect to another T5. Except your contractor are charging you each light install are RM10 not light point. As light point normally are more expensive perhaps 20-30 per light point cost. My contractor charge me only RM5 for 1 row T5 ( 5 T5) base on one light point, as he just need to make Back to back coonection on T5....

QUOTE(manemaren @ May 15 2012, 11:00 PM) I just completed my lighting installation with AVALON. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Firstly they delivered and installed the wrong light. Secondly the installer done a shoddy job. All lights were installed with only 1 screw to the concrete ceiling. Even after I complained the installer refused to put in the second or third screw. He say it how they installed it and it is safe enough. The problem is I have paid all the dues during the promotion time and have nothing to force them to do it. No more AVALON lighting for me. Really hopeless. WHich branch you go? Have you complain to they manager or supervisor?
