QUOTE(kamion @ Sep 29 2011, 01:02 PM) So your room is roughly 16ft x 11.5ft. My living room is 22ft x 12.5ft and I have 8 x 6" single bulb downlights. Ceiling height is a higher than yours, about 11 feet. It is PLENTY bright. The lady I met in Wong Lighting advised that to use 4" diameter vertical downlight. for low ceiling below 9' is suitable.Go for the 6" downlights, single bulb enough la. Based on my mom's house, its plenty bright. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 28 2011, 11:24 AM) Very small small DSL only. weikee calculated my FS LED light only , already RM8/month My calculation is 1) hall - 3x23w ccfl = 69w x 6hr x 365/12 = 13kwh x 0.218 = rm3/mth 2) car porch - 1 x 23w ccfl = 23w x 8hr x 365/12 =5.6kwh x 0.218 = rm1.3/mth So total rm4.3. Others ON/OFF and no more than 1hr. Total should be around rm5 kua? Guys, I need help here,
My FungShui Led down-lights 9 pcs (on 24 hours), going kaput one by one in the last 3 days. Even though they give me 6 months warranty, I think it won't last looking at the situation. Very damaging to the plaster ceiling changing the light all the time. I like the LED casing and hope to retain it. I heard that if you change the driver it will last. Any suggestions !!!??? Nowadays T5 is the preferred flourescent light as it isthe newer and smaller model, but lighting wise T8 being bigger is arguably brighter.

QUOTE(weikee @ May 31 2012, 10:09 AM) Real practical example, mad valley parking used to be t8, they change to t5, and during transition can see the difference, and now the parking is so much brighter. My mom house I replace the old t8 to t5, brightness is so much much difference. I know there is 2 type of T8 Light. The ones with the green edge connectors are brighther than the ones with the silver edge connectors. |
