It depends actually. I suspect that Friday night will be longer. Actually it really depends on the checkpoint actually. If fast, you can actually get through the checkpoint really fast and reach within 5 hours. If checkpoint si beh long, then it will takes longer than that. Never took the bus 707 before. Hehehe... thought it's some secret code. haha....

TT via Maybank or OCBC is the best, last time I tried before but forgotten the charges.

But why not money changer? (if you don't mind carrying few thousands in your bag as money changer rates are better then bank rates).

Try Mustapha at China Town. (You might get the best rate in Singapore).
*
As for me,currently i have a friend in MY that want to save SGD here, she had opened a SG account here and whenever i want to TT money back, i will just bank in to her SAV and she will TT MYR to my MY bank account with agreeable amount,
we do it based on daily exchange rates, save on TT charges,

Not necessary. One may apply for Personalised Employment Pass (PEP).

Aisheh fret not! That's for P1 pass holders. P2 and Q1 pass holders are eligible to apply - as long as you have the years of working experience needed + salary of $2.5k/month.

That's the same as the P1 EP. It's meant to replace the P1 and give P1 holders the outright flexibility to change employers.

Just noticed that there's no $2000 tax rebate this year (YA2010) when I received my tax assessment this afternoon. Damn! Small consolation is this year can pay using credit card via ibanking. At least get back some cashback, points or miles.

Dunno. I guess it's just the cycle I fall under. My assessments always come in July, and payable by mid August. Same every year.
