QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ May 11 2010, 12:12 PM) Added on May 11, 2010, 12:13 pm Singapore population approx 85% is Chinese.. What do you think? Malaysia on the other hand 60% is Malay... What do you think? Having said that, SG will treat all race equally. but what i can see it that the Singaporean chinese is less patriotic compare to Malaysian Chinese. We will call our self Malaysian Chinese but they will still use those terms like I am from Guang Dong, Hokkien, teo chiew that sort of stuff. and the other day Me and My aunty proudly say we are Malaysian and my uncle and cousin is Singaporean, then my uncle become rage. He said what Malaysian Singaporean, we all are Chinese and we are from the same country. no difference 1. i was |

QUOTE(Argiope @ May 13 2010, 12:35 PM) Yup and remove the price tag etc. If the custom officers ask just tell them it's a used item otherwise you have to pay GST. I drove my PC and LCD in they asked whether it's new i said no then they let me go. i am talking about pillow and bolster leh, not those electrical item. Will they stop me and tear off the pillow or bolster cause scare i bring drugs inside the pillow?? |

QUOTE(lurker2010 @ May 14 2010, 06:45 PM) Hi guys i'm in a similar predicament. My current salary is RM4600 basic. Offered salary is 3900SGD basic + 300SGD allowance + CPF Cash in lieu (about 500SGD). Should i take up the Singapore offer considering the lower basic? what seantang says is right, SGD3.9k vs RM4.6k really no nid to compare. definitely SGD is better. the 1 they comparing previously is RM7k with SGD 3.8k, thats almost doubled. urs is just few hundred difference. not to mention add up everything, u are getting more. if u dun accept it, then u have some problem.Thanks. |

I mean when u are matured, u will have that kind of mentality, when i go back to my school, i will just scold the clerk at my school when i collect my cert. when i see my teacher, when she is trying to show those stupid arrogant attitude at me, i will just tell them "is this how u treat ur boss? i am paying ur salary ok? I am a tax payer now"

Only those teacher that is good deserve my respect. I do have some teacher that i will respect if what they said is true and not some useless and arrogant teachers that wants u to do it only using her way even u have a better way to solve ur issue. |

QUOTE(cks2k2 @ May 19 2010, 11:17 AM) Not sure about M1, but for Singtel they want to see your student pass/emp pass (basically the FIN), and a deposit of $200 for foreigners. the $200 deposit is depends on what type of pass u are holding. If work permit, then u need to pay, if u are on S pass or EP, then no nid, just photo copy ur passport and work pass will do. |

QUOTE(dokidoki @ May 25 2010, 11:49 AM) aih... gov want money...now got chance to sell then quick quick sell..last time mahathir and pak lah defence so hard...gone~ i supported Najib's move. at least its a win-win situation where Singapore got their land back, Malaysia gets their money. Malaysian gets to take MRT to cross the causeway for work. Singaporean gets to use MRT to cross the causeway for shopping. Cheaper toll rates for 2nd link = a lot of development will happen there soon. why not? i just think that last time Mahathir too degil.next time i come back from KL with train..need take longer time to commute from woodland to tanjong pagar mrt ady |
