Go scout around first before making drastic decision, the country is nice, good technology, cheaper cost of living (i can still find S$1.50 lunch in Benoi) but rental is the killer and i think during the 1st week you need to get a good pair of shoes for walking  if you are a guy, girls here are hot but not beautiful, penang girls are beautiful but not hot. There was this fat landlord who wanted to rent a room out of the three bedroom apartment and the landlord slept in the living room coz that persons excuse is that the rental money is her income. and like most typical landlords, you can only use the washin machine once a week, lights out at 11pm and if you have a pc, you have to goto the nearby mcdonalds to leech their electicity supply since she wont tolerate you sucking up the PUB bill, even though its "supposed" to be inclusive of rental.

Have anyone experience before when u bought a bus ticket to/fro SG, and for some reason, not enuf customers for ur schedule, and on that last minute travelling day itself, they tell u canceled or reschedule it to a later time (combining it with the next schedule)?

I haven't experience it, but just wondering if any has such experience b4 and which bus company?
