what type of recommendation do you want?
afaik, all PBB cards are roughly the same, nothing much except when there are promotions like now

.. i would suggest you apply alliance bank platinum cash back cc; if you really consistently charged rm5k per month, you could get about rm68 cash back per month, plus bonus points some more...

public bank cc now got a lot of promotion. it seems for those who frequently use CC, public bank cc would definitely a good choice.

For Alliance CCs, you need to spend around RM5k per month in order to fully enjoy the cash back.

What I meant was that, you would only get the MAXIMUM cash back if you could spend RM5k. It is to note that Alliance's cash back is based on tier rate. The more you spend (up to RM5k), the higher rebate rate you would get.

No. charge card is similar to credit card, with the concept that you use the money first, then pay after the statement comes to your doorstep. (use future money)

Difference between charge card and credit card is, credit card comes with credit limit, whereas charge card does not comes with predefined credit limit.

The amount you can charged on charge card depends on your spending habit. also, there is no minimum payment allowed for charge card. charge card users are expected to settle all the outstanding balance before the due date.

No. No such thing as top up before you can use it. Charge card is very much like credit card which its card users are using future money as hebe87 said.

Let's put it this way ... your application is not the only application in Malaysia that they received. They are also processing other people's application. If already at this stage the bank is already giving you problems, what make you think they would be better later once you get your card ?

totally agree. But don;t you think is better to have an on going promotion which has been occuring for one year than a standard boring cash rebate biggrin.gif
