On JustOne ...
No point elaborating about the card because the bank stopped issuing the card for new applicants for 1 year +. Existing card holders have confirmed the rebate has been reset (including myself) means the bank is still continuing the program. However, SCB in the past have terminated the "Character" cards program means there's always a possibility the bank will terminate the JustOne program too. Likely the bank did not want to continue the tie-up with Warner Bros because they have to pay royalties for the use of the Warner Bros character. (e.g Batman, Tweety Bird) It was this program that finally SCB had grew their card base significantly. @ jack2 .... I understand what you meant but it is not the card no longer in issue but the bank stopped issuing the card to new applicants. |

QUOTE(winner @ Jul 7 2010, 09:58 PM) I am hesitating about applying for the card. If I were to apply, it will be via online application. To be frank, the Plat series looks awful. hehe, very lousy rebate and look indeedAdded on July 8, 2010, 11:12 am QUOTE(siutimtim @ Jul 8 2010, 10:48 AM) means you can apply and get the card on the same day - if you are luckybetter go today and tomorrow, if weekend sure cannot get This post has been edited by alexwsk: Jul 8 2010, 11:12 AM |

QUOTE(siutimtim @ Jul 8 2010, 02:10 PM) if holding their gold card already got instant upgrade to plat card if go there ahh??? Card upgrade ... ? Unlikely ...Added on July 8, 2010, 2:11 pmtheir amex plat credit card requirement like very low worr.. hahaha oh ya if no maybank card can go in ahh?? Instant approval more likely means that you apply and get a "temporary" card which you can only use to buy things inside the fair. Physical card will arrive much later on. Without fail ... too many people come to this fair every year ... so the chance you will the card on the spot is low. I think you can go in without MBB card (not so sure) but what's the point ? You cannot buy anything there with a MBB card. MBB World Mastercard offer for every RM2 local spending or RM1 overseas spending for conversation to Enrich Miles is rather attractive but I will hold further comments as I have never been impressed with MBB's handling of the CS. I guess they will initially offer their internal top tier clients these cards which are more likely to have loyalty to MBB. Yes .... I agree this places the card in competition to SCB's VI (PB customers only), Citi's PremierMiles card and CIMB's Enrich WMC. (Based on airline miles redemption scheme) RHB's VI nor MBF's WMC has never been attractive to me. This post has been edited by hye: Jul 8 2010, 07:00 PM |
