What I stress upon is train effectively first with a good diet, the bare basics THEN think about supplements. I don't want to see students here with awesome potential sacrifice food for supplements which won't do the trick if the basics are not even there.

Which is why despite the fact that I have been training longer than people
like angrydog, I look up to him because of his impressive base WITHOUT supplements.

Angrydog = no supps, trained for 2 years plus.
Wildcat90 = supps and blogwhoring aplenty, trained more than 5 years.

Now take their pics and compare. Do the math.

i dunno about wildcat and his campaign for supps
but as for angrydog, i guess his uber genes helped a lot no?

watching his pics only makes me wanna add more food in my 6 meal a day plan

I'm eating ice cream because of its calories, and it is delicious lol. Hmm I don't quite get it. So basically I need to cut off any carbohydrates intake after work out? But I'm so hungry at night so I need at least a plate of rice or spaghetti. I also eat a lot of bagels, with butter or cream cheese. And a few cup of ice coffees.
*
U need carbohydrate for ur post workout and from ur diet plan, my advise is to reduce ur carbs intake and take more protein for the meal after. lol, Ice cream has too much of sugar, tats y i m asking u to take olive or coconut oil (they produce huge amount of calories). But if u r not gaining any fat by having spaghetti or brown rice at night, then no worries, coz in my case, i m super sensitive to carbs and any extra can c me getting fat obviously.

hey guys.. im training hard but when i checked my body stats i gained about 2.5% of fat in a week.. from 11-13.5%

i take alot of protein and milk.. i think i gain like 90% fat and 10% muscle only.. i gained 1 kg and all are fat =(

I am already very skinny.. is it possible that my genetics are so bad that I can only gain fat but not muscle.. i don't wanna be at 50kg with 20% fat

the only positive results i get is im getting stronger.. but other than that.. not much i guess.. dem..

You're not training like a bodybuilder. 5 x 5 is a good program, if you don't want to look like a bb'er that is. Not dissin it but you're not going to gain what you're hoping to achieve brother.

Take out that damn maggi goreng. The only time I eat a triple maggi goreng is on weekends. Fish oil also before sleep. If you're the type who puts on fat too easily, go easy on the milk and go for more egg whites instead.

My breakfast sometimes hits more than 60 grams of protein. Ain't enough carbs and protein in there bro.

hm.. lemme giv a brief history of myself..

i was very small last time.. one of the smallest and weakest in class (high school).. im about 40 kilograms.. some of my classmates are 70.. without going to the gym..

they are naturally this big (got muscle mass at ard 18% fat - don't know how they become so big without going gym) and im this small.. shitty genetics.. ok to be fair there are some who are like 50 kg also

i'm not sure if i gain fat easily or not but i was at 41kg at 7% fat and now 13.5% at 48kg.. not sure if thats gaining fat easily

i don wanna be a bodybuilder.. i jus wanna gain weight.. too skinny.. but if gain an unhealthy amount of fat.. then no point la.. got other risk of diseases..

Sigh gooni3. You can't get big so easily. It takes years to build lean muscle mass. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle, not just working out in the gym.

You'll want most of your calories to come from nutrient sense foods.

How much protein can we actually digest in one meal? Isn't 60g above the roof? I sometimes limit myself to 30g+ max.

hm.. ok i get it now..

means its hard to build muscle but after u build it after years of hard work..

the good thing is even if u don't maintain it u also won't revert back to like when u first started.. maybe just lose half of it..

am i right to say this?

If not mistaken, i read it from tmuscle, it is depend on ur size, 30g is not a maximum, just tat too often ppl using 180 lbs as example and end up 30g per meal. smile.gif

ultimately its all up to you dude. its your body and you should treat it the way you want to. If you feel you're fat, fine; go do some cardio in addition to weightlifting. As long as you're leading a healthy lifestyle i dont see how its gonna do you bad. Some bb'ers make it a habit to jog 5 miles whenever they have access calories. (ref: scooby, i read it in his webbie).

as for myself, i have tried bulking up too. to the point im force feeding myself. Feel damn bloated the whole day. True, I gained mass, but with that a belly as well. So I included cardio 2 times a week + bball whenever I can make it, and it feels GREAT! Lost the tummy, gained stamina and better cut. I wouldn't mind bulking up slower, but I'm damned sure I want to enjoy the progress.

and about the drama wink.gif wink.gif
chill guys. sometimes to know your mistake and admitting it makes the man. what terry said made a good impression. There's so few of us. We shouldn't be making enemies here of all places.

Well bro, thought about how some ifbb pros take more than 400 grams daily? Even if they eat 8 times a day, 8 x 30 = just 240 grams.
