3) Strangely, I have sent more than 10 SMS-es but still I do not get any SMS alert from DiGi telling me I have hit RM 1.00?
Please take note that only SMS-es to any DiGi numbers and other networks are included in the accumulated RM 1.00. FnF and International SMS will not be taken into calculation.

4) I have just recently got my freebies, will it charge my current credit or freebies?
It will charge to your freebies and thus you are not eligible to get any discounted call or SMS rate.

5) So, once I hit RM 1.00 of usage, does that mean I'll get the discounted rate forever?
Nah, it is a daily basis cycle. One cycle lasts for 24 hours, every day's 11.59.59 p.m., your account will be reset and you need to spend RM 1.00 again to get the discounted rate.

Well, all telcos have limit.
If you are within 3G coverage, you can get unlimited free video calls too.

At least our lovely DiGi offers unlimited to family members, thats the most important. Totally unlimited.. Yes and DiGi charge video call as voice call rate.. Wohoooooo...

Probably it is 01.01.10, hence DiGi made some reset to the freebies account. For example the free 1000 SMS-es has already ended last midnight, hence they just reset everyone's account.

This reset is dumb. I reloaded RM100 for my mom on 30th December 2009, awarded with 1000SMS, and is now gone.

The important question is, if someone's birthday falls on 25th December 2009 and reloaded RM100 and obtained RM50 freebies talktime, will the talk time be forfeited?

My family member prepaid birthday bonus wasn't forfeited..

I believe we just need to show the merchants our phone with telco operating logo stated "DiGi" will do. Just afraid of embarrassing moment when those employees have no idea why do I show them my phone.

If I'm not mistaken the promotion will end on 31.01.10.

I tried. The employee ask for the promotional sms instead. I got confused because the ad says "just show your DiGi screen". I then ask the DiGi guy on Twitter and he says we only need to show our DiGi home screen. If the employee do not accept just ask the manager, or report to DiGi so that they can correct the problem.

Meaning. How also you gotta pay RM30 per month. Once your usage exceed RM30 it will charge you accordingly. However if you use less than Rm30 you also still need to pay Rm30..

for digi50, the charger rate is lower right? but the digi 50 is that mean no matter how much i use, i will be charge for rm50 n after exceeded 50 then only get charged for watever i used?

By the way regarding the 3G signal, it depends on the area right? If usage is a lot, then you need to go for DG50. RM 150 for monthly prepaid is not helping at all. Postpaid has cheaper rate but then you gonna pay some costs to it, not many promotions are available for postpaid users.
