This reset is dumb. I reloaded RM100 for my mom on 30th December 2009, awarded with 1000SMS, and is now gone.

The important question is, if someone's birthday falls on 25th December 2009 and reloaded RM100 and obtained RM50 freebies talktime, will the talk time be forfeited?

Can someone show me details of DiGi Internet Prepaid starter kit. I cannot find details over the DiGi website.

When I asked the D'Chat, I don't get a clear idea

(9:16:59 pm) DiGi CS: The starter pack costs RM25 and comes with 10 days of broadband usage.
(9:17:09 pm) DiGi CS: If you'd like to use it, it'll cost RM2/day.
(9:17:22 pm) DiGi CS: *with 5 days of broadband usage

Please use digiWap not Diginet, I got charged by using Diginet.

Congratz to digi users who can access facebook free on the go!

No wonder I got charged 10c each time I connect. My PDA doesn't want to use digiwap for internet browsing. Before I saw your post, I already reported to DiGi about this. Lets see how they can resolve for me.

I am lodging reports about Facebook Zero. I am being charged 10c each time I access. DiGi customer service offered to refund the credit but was unable to fix the issue that I'm being charged.

Someone mentioned about access point settings but because of HTC insistence to use DiGi Internet for Internet Explorer, I am not able to use DiGi Wap settings.

WARNING: Facebook Zero is not free

so how?

DiGi promises to revert to me within 24 hours. I'll see what they will do again. It's impossible for me to call them everyday to refund me the few pennies.

DiGi have yet to respond to me. Is there a DiGi facebook page where I can write this onto their wall?

WARNING: DiGi Facebook Zero NOT Free!
Update:
DiGi returned my call and insisted that Facebook Zero is free as long as no images or external link is displayed. My small amount of credit is not expected to be refunded. After that I insisted that their system is erroneous, DiGi advised to visit DiGi Center to allow them to validate.

I wonder what's my compensation to travel all the way there.

how much u kena charged ? You used the diginet that's why they charge you?
*
Very little. Total up I think somewhere RM1. I cannot connect using digiwap. The settings in HTC connection manager made Internet Explorer to use diginet only. Digiwap is only used for MMS retrieval.

Anyway, both diginet and digiwap should have worked for Facebook Zero. If it hasn't, DiGi has to make changes, not us.

The product managers for this are already aware of this issue and looking into it as we speak. I'll update everyone here soon.

Added on June 11, 2010, 2:52 pmAlso, no need to go to DiGi Center to settle this for now. I personally don't see why you need to do so. So, please hold on for now. We'll sort it out for you guys.
*
Not that I wanted to go to DiGi center, it was being suggested from the customer service lady.

Ahaha. I thought sweetpuff were the one calling me. Anyway, DiGi got back to me to find out why I get charged 10c for using 0.facebook.com.

From the response I've gotten, the charge originates from an unknown communication and not 0.facebook.com. I have already closed every possible application and every settings which would access to internet is being disabled. If it has something to do with HTC phones, then I think I don't have fate with 0.facebook.com.

Diginet is the apn for smartphones. It will be able to access the internet exactly like ordinary broadband. digiwap is intended to serve WAP sites.

You mean service discontinued by DiGi? I am not surprised. Malaysians don't know how to appreciate free service. Always complaint get charged but actually it was due to their own mistake, by accessing pictures etc.

I can't help it to get my FB zero to be really zero. It's a bummer.

What phone you're using again? Got some stuff running in the background like weather updates or a-gps downloads?
HTC Touch Diamond. Nothing running in background. Every possible settings turned off. If anything were to update, probably it won't be just 10kB (since it's 10c only).

DiGi now have RM15/week BB for prepaid. It is even cheaper than Smartplan, but the speed is limited to 384kbps. Good feature for those who just wants to stay connected on the phone.
