@lowyat888, I experienced 2 encounters of fraud cases on my Citibank CC. Upon it happening, Citibank suspended my CC account (in the meantime, issuing me a new card with a new number). I was also asked to proof I've not left the card; I did not have to bear the charges which weren't spent by me.

QUOTE(lowyat888 @ Oct 16 2009, 10:46 AM) anyone encountered any illegal usage of credit/disputes amt, what is the process or go about it? do u need to pay for the dispute amt or the bank will temporary hold the dispute amt until further investigations You need to report to the bank first and follow the instruction given by the bank (some banks may require police reports). You needn't pay anything. If the bank insists asking you to compensate, you can refer to Page 1 of this thread: BNM issued guidelines in 2003 that limits consumer liability in cases of fraud to only RM250. QUOTE(winner @ Oct 16 2009, 09:47 AM) I notice that e-statement of Citibank in pdf format has got a lower resolution since last month. I actually prefer this way. However, next month's statement will be the last e-statement I receive from Citibank (at least for the time being) as I have just terminated my Citi Plat cc for the purpose of consolidating my existing CCs. is it? last month no transaction so no statement. now only notice it. haha

Available through most Internet banking providers ... just look at a few posts back and you'll find it. We were discussing it earlier. This post has been edited by hye: Oct 17 2009, 06:24 PM

Not sure its for both or one card. Yes, SCB is such a Santa Claus, giving away RM100 and RM50 to new Plat and Gold cardholders respectively. A welcome gift in form of cash rebate is absolutely better than those cheap and low quality gifts. This post has been edited by winner: Oct 17 2009, 04:44 PM

If your outstanding is in a big amount, say RM20,000. You can pay it by cheque if you have a current account. Just mail your cheque to Citibank HQ in KL. Citibank does not charge commission for outstation cheque.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 17 2009, 05:22 PM) Citibank does not charge commission for outstation cheque. Commission charges are no longer applicable to outstation cheques for ALL BANKS under the new CTCS system. QUOTE(choiheng @ Oct 17 2009, 06:10 PM) yup got my rm100 but i waiting for my actual platinum card to arrive. for the past 2 months i only able utilize the cc to pay bill online. Did you mean that your application was successful 2 months ago and you used your cc online but the physical cc has not arrived yet? That sounds weird. The cc must have been missing somewhere. You may contact the bank immediately.

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Oct 18 2009, 03:26 AM) how do u know your cc last 3 digits for online use when u have not receive it ? It doesn't require 3-digit security number for SCB online bill payments, such as telco and utility bills, quit rent, assessment, etc. You can choose to make the payment via cc, current or savings account. What you need is to register the bill online and a transaction pin will be sent to your mobile phone.
