It's f***tards like these that every other people have to suffer.

You want high quality media? Goddamnit go buy instead of downloading it.

All these overuse ended up mid/low end user are suffering now. My connection has been capped at 256kbps, it's still an acceptable speed for non-download task but now I can't access gmail, youtube, or even my radio. People getting capped gets uncapped within 1-2 days but mine already 3 days and they're giving excuse that the connection will only return to normal at 19th Sept so now I have to stop accessing my emails until that time?

No thank to these f***tard downloaders that we're getting capped and having our connection messed up.
*
Download doesn't means didn't support original, those who didn't download they more support pirate cause they rather pay 5 bucks to get a pirate instead. I do buy original BD, using original software, VOD, PPV but i do download, so what?

Not the downloader making you suffer but TM instead, i guess you haven't wake up try to refresh yourself.

With that kind of amount you're downloading, you must be doing business out or it or some dedicated server.

People who does this are usually either self employed or not working.

Where can a person find enough of time surfing to find contents to download like that if he/she is working?
*
a person like that really got no life. 24/7 download porn. no wonder tmnut want to cap.

another fool that believe tmnut bad service is due to downloaders.
P1 does has bandwidth capping, but its service still can't satisfy the subscribers. So you think shitmyx will become better after this bandwidth capping implement?

actually, majority of subscribers are downloading stuffs. downloading e-mail attachments also included. The fcuked up connection is not cause by heavy downloaders, but the TM itself who does not increase the bandwidth/infrastructure, or even messed up our connection. Still use copper wire to deliver the service sleep.gif

Even games these days takes like 7-10GBs.

I mean original games from Steam. It's a bloody pain in the ass if the ISP count the MBs you dl for a game.

It's time each of the 8 of you get your own broadband line.

Remember you are paying for one line.Don't complain.

If all of you can't afford a line each, then get at least 2-3 lines then share it in smaller groups.

I do somewhat agree with what you've said.

Bandwidth capping is not going to quite help the situation if the company continues to be run by cronies and corrpted people who wants to buy more bungalow homes...

The bandwidth saved by the speed caps will be used to oversell more and it'll end up the same or even worst.

Unless the isp is generous enough to refrain from greediness and ensure that sufficient bandwidth for its subscribers, one thing for sure it'll never happen to TM because it is run by monkeys.

Probably not. If your college is using a leased-line or business package Streamyx.

However, this is not confirmed yet. But if this is true, this is going to be really bad for my office too. On the other hand,  I wouldn't care if my office is running on fiber.

No, for business, unlimited are really unlimited unlike for personal usage are limited for now... but I'm not capped anyway... since first day using streamyx since 2004.

Supporting original or pirate is irrelevant. You steal a Porsche, then you complain petrol expensive? Get real.

If you really want to appreaciate HD media, pay the directors, support original instead of downloading for free, clogging up all the bandwidth and complain about not able to download your HD porn because you got capped.

Blacklist me? Into what list? Your list? LOLOL I AM SO SCARED OF YOUR BLACKLIST THAT DO NOTHING.

It takes more than one hand to clap, fool or no fool, it's perspective of each person. To me you're just another fool calling me a fool, that's my perspective, sue me.

TMnet definitely has bigger infrastructure than P!, not to mention P1 running cost would be higher than TMnet. TMnet already has ready hardware in place(phone lines etc.). I have never said TMnet is innocent in this case, nor I conclusively say they're guilty, but I am sure that downloaders are guilty.

How big your email attachment is? 10 meg? 20 meg? 50 meg? So email is the new multifile download service like rapidshare/megaupload? Read what I've said above, both side is responsible for the mess.

I do not know if it's true but there was once a technician who came by our house told me that copper wire is still better than fiber optic in phone line technology. How much truth in there I do not know but my neighboring town that have fiber optic lines is getting worse streamyx service than I do.

QUOTE(zwanvedder @ Aug 29 2009, 06:50 PM)

What we've paid for is unlimited usage and not bandwidth. In comparison to dail-up, ADSL has already allow us to stay online 24/7 for a fraction of what would've cost with dail-up.

Interpret word properly, a buffet all you can eat doesn't mean you can tapau and bring home. Some even have a time limit on how long you can sit at the table. Why still call it buffet or all you can eat if that's the case?

QUOTE(wut2du @ Aug 29 2009, 07:01 PM)

On 24/7 doesn't mean having your connection used at full speed 24/7. An example that your MSN can stay online 24/7 for a fraction of your price.

Oh right, ages ago Jaring dail up has an 'unlimited' package which charges you AFTER you used for 150 hours. That's SO unlimited.

Bandwidth capping is only one of the many solution to quality control. Cut out the cronies' comission, what's left for TMNet to improve their services has gone to pay for bandwidth, how much there is left to improve the infrastructures?
