Probably not. If your college is using a leased-line or business package Streamyx.

However, this is not confirmed yet. But if this is true, this is going to be really bad for my office too. On the other hand, I wouldn't care if my office is running on fiber.

10 GB for using Screamyx. If it's true, it still better than Celcom BB with 5 GB limit.

I once went to TM office a few years ago just to tell them the reason I subscribe to broadband. I said I just want to download movies/music/games every single minute non stop using torrent with their unlimited package. After I explained thoroughly about my intentions of having broadband and their secret tactic of capping the bandwidth, finally I terminated my streamyx account in front of the officers. I'd rather live in a cave rather than downloading at snail speed.

i hope when they start capping, just cap scrumyx package only. and at that time, we can oledi start using HSBB oledi, with fiber direct to home, or at least VDSL with 20MB+ something. i hope.

With that kind of amount you're downloading, you must be doing business out or it or some dedicated server.

People who does this are usually either self employed or not working.

Where can a person find enough of time surfing to find contents to download like that if he/she is working?

It's f***tards like these that every other people have to suffer.

You want high quality media? Goddamnit go buy instead of downloading it.

All these overuse ended up mid/low end user are suffering now. My connection has been capped at 256kbps, it's still an acceptable speed for non-download task but now I can't access gmail, youtube, or even my radio. People getting capped gets uncapped within 1-2 days but mine already 3 days and they're giving excuse that the connection will only return to normal at 19th Sept so now I have to stop accessing my emails until that time?

No thank to these f***tard downloaders that we're getting capped and having our connection messed up.

Bandwidth cap = ALL the traffic you use, download AND upload.
