This is ridiculous.Cap people's internet without even letting them know. What the hell is this?

10GB is way too little for today's standards.Besides, not everyone uses large bandwidth for illegal stuff. There are ways to use lots of bandwidth for legal stuff.

You know, there is some facts i gathered as im using capped internet in Aus.

Surfing LYN for 2 hours, takes about 100MB.Thats if you are in a chat thread,or an very active thread. So,that means surfing LYN for 100 hours of spamming /k,bye bye internets.

An hour of Team Fortress 2 takes about 50MB,with no mike.

An hour of a RTS games like Sins of Solar Empire,RA3,DoW2 takes about 15-20MB.No mike too.

A typical HD pictures takes about 1MB.So,some mass HD pictures search will take probably 50MB in a very short time.

A youtube video takes about 50MB on average.

In short, they should give at least 200GB per month.

It's a bad decision,as it will give the users stress over their usage.

It also limits what they can do with the internet.

Even games these days takes like 7-10GBs.

I mean original games from Steam. It's a bloody pain in the ass if the ISP count the MBs you dl for a game.
