agree with

3. throttle half the speed of the package.

1mbps at least 45G usage. 2mb 90G, 4mb 180G

45G for 1Mb means  1.5G per day...

wow i rarely reach that...wonder what do you guys download ^^
*
i can reach 200++GB per month with just use 1Mbps package, so average 7++GB per day

no worries, i'm kinda trolling too smile.gif. honestly, 10 GB per month is a little on the low side, but if the rumors on those price plans are true, 10GB is only RM30. For those who are willing to pay around RM100 i'm sure it'll be more than that, i wouldn't hold my breath though.
*
just in case the package still give the crappy service like we faced now, so how? hmm.gif

hi, i'm newbie. i dont understand about limit bandwidth. so it mean if i use TM ISP, i only use 10GB/month for download ??
*
let's take the below situation for example

you subscribe a new package from TM, 1Mbps (RM 30) which have monthly data cap of 10GB. It means, once you reach 10GB of bandwidth (including uploading, browsing, streaming, etc), your usual speed (about 180++KBps) will be throttled down to slower speed (eg. 40KBps) and you have to stick with that slow speed till TM reset and you'll get the speed back on next month.

What is going to happen to my bill? Do I need to terminate and resubscribe or they will just charge me RM30 instead of RM88 on my next bill when this comes?
*
probably your package will change automatically and will charge you RM 30. it's still rumors, though so no need to worry for now smile.gif

It's f***tards like these that every other people have to suffer.

You want high quality media? Goddamnit go buy instead of downloading it.

All these overuse ended up mid/low end user are suffering now. My connection has been capped at 256kbps, it's still an acceptable speed for non-download task but now I can't access gmail, youtube, or even my radio. People getting capped gets uncapped within 1-2 days but mine already 3 days and they're giving excuse that the connection will only return to normal at 19th Sept so now I have to stop accessing my emails until that time?

No thank to these f***tard downloaders that we're getting capped and having our connection messed up.
*
actually, majority of subscribers are downloading stuffs. downloading e-mail attachments also included. The fcuked up connection is not cause by heavy downloaders, but the TM itself who does not increase the bandwidth/infrastructure, or even messed up our connection. Still use copper wire to deliver the service sleep.gif
