For bodybuilding, there's every reason to do partial reps especially when they want to place emphasis on the chest. The lowest 1/2 of the ROM, hits the chest and shoulders. The upper half brings on the tricep activation more. Though his ROM is a bit short, but whatever works.

full ROM can be such a b**** especially when you got long limbs. by the time your chest gets pumped up, your triceps give out first. hahahahahah.

Just came back from OHM gym. Anyway thats what i did today

bodyweight squat 1x10
Squat 60kg 1x5, 80kg 4x5, 85kg 1x5
Deadlift 60kg 1x5, 100kg 3x5
Jerk 50kg 5x5
Bench Press 55kg 5x5

How the heck do you shoulder press 140LBS dumbbells so easily?? Heck I see NFL trainees having a hard time with 140LBS dumbbell BENCH presses

its a total of 140lb not 140 each side...

oh.............
so it's 70LBS dumbbell presses. Which is still a big amount. I don't think I can handle that much weight.

If I tried that, I probably wouldn't even be able to get the DBs up, let alone press them. Then I'd really pop something in my back. tongue.gif
