QUOTE(tenno @ Apr 6 2010, 08:49 AM) Wow... Yo, I guess Ur really new here..so... If U've been here a while, U will see tht sometimes this thread will go on for a couple of weeks without any comments. Only when there are some events or races U will see this thread active. Maybe some of us have got some other things to do other than replying in this thread. First of all, U shudn't rely on this thread, or on this forum for that matter, as Ur only source of information or reference. There are tons of info out there on running, which is one of the most popular activities in the world. All U have to do is Google them up. I've found very, very useful training programs in Runners World. In fact, I've been following it to finish 2 half marathons so far this year. So, where there's a will, there's a way. No offence to anyone intended, merely making trying to 'blend in'. I do source info from other places on running, but I am only leisure runner. Not too involved and not spending too much time on it. Cheers to bros and siss of Runnerz |

Happened to me today where my legs felt like they could have carried on on their own but I was panting like hell and had to stop. I think my breathing pattern is fine : / I hv oredi PM you on your Q. As for your existing damage, use NIVEA cream. Dont use Vaseline, its too greasy and not to heal any scratches on the skin. As for you lungs going to explode, that shows your fitness level is not up to mark for the distance or pace you are running. all you need is to keep practising and eventually u will overcome that exhaustion. If you find it too difficult in the beginning, just adopt run/walk technique. No worries, all newbies will go thru such feelings like u. Hope this helps. |

QUOTE(Syd G @ Apr 7 2010, 09:42 PM) Kobe, u may also want to consider switching to those light weight micro fiber brief. I hv been using it for all my runs.Added on April 7, 2010, 11:02 pm QUOTE(harris92 @ Apr 7 2010, 10:51 PM) Hey guys. Anyone joining the NST run? 60-65mins is quite normal for a 10k run. if one is fast then between 50-55mins, and if one is super duper fast it will be a sub50 mins. And I'm wondering what's the normal-good time to finish a 10km run. Another option to what Choi's suggested is Savlon. During my cycling days I used to use it whenever I get into trouble down there. problem is i can't see the problem since i cant bend over that way down Micro fibre underwear is good. I'm using the ones from Renoma. Added on April 8, 2010, 8:18 am QUOTE(Syd G @ Apr 7 2010, 08:45 PM) What do U get for 20 bucks ? anyway, like Choi (CCUbe) said is all about practice, but then for some of us age catching up, so we got to go endurance not speed. For the underwear chaffing, yes, switch to Renoma microfiber. |
