I dun think U wanna do LSD on Ur rest day. LSD shud be on another day & it shud be Ur longest (time/distance) training of the week, so how can it be on rest day ?

Rest day is either U dun do nothing at all.. or U do active rest. On active rest days, U can go swimming, easy jog, stretching, just like elgato suggested. For me, I'd go easy jog for maybe 45 mins, where I'll go really easy, listen to music, enjoy the surroundings, talk to Ur running partner, things like that.

there are great shoes, off season so no point for me to keep it too long, just let it go w/o any loss is good for me. If you want a fast shoe for short races then the Type A2 is fantastic.

I'm doing the Bomba 10K - they so efficient.. I went there (Jln Maharajalela) to sign-up and they give us the t-shirt and bib at the same time! Saves making another trip later to collect them. biggrin.gif

Not sure yet about NST Run since we've to submit our regr onsite la.. leceh tongue.gif

I agree that Larian Bomba is one of the easiest runs to participate, this will be my 2nd year running it. NST's run.. well, maybe this is the first year their doing it & nobody in the secretariat knows exactly what to do, hence things like that la, original form .. bla.. bla.. It's not like anybody will fake a registration form or whatever rite ?

i hv no speed now, after all the long runs and marathons. gotta cut back on those on focus on shorter distance fr June/July onwards. The Bomba route is more than 10k, so doing a sub50 is not easy, coupled with all the hills.

Sub 50.. hmm... sub 1 hour dulu kot... 55 mins seems a realistic target for now. Anything below 55 mins will be a big bonus.. Me same like Choi.. no speed currently..

Ipoh .. hmm.. nak lari ape ? Half ka ? Tht's just 2 weeks after SCKLM man... dunno if can recover on time or not... maybe 10K kot ?

ccube, you got all the stamina ma.. just pia right from the start and dun let go... compress all the 84K stamina into 10K. I think sub40 also can do la!! drool.gif

chinleong, might do Ipoh Run. Will see how things go as I'm afraid I might be busy during that stretch. If not busy, I'll be there....
