the only brand that can do customise running shoe is Adidas at The Gardens. but that may not solve your problems 100%. Having calf/heel injury is normally due to the cushion support and stability control of the shoe you are wearing. and if you have a big body frame, do not buy shoes that are light weight and have no cushion + stability support. next is if you are a flat footed or heavily over pronate, make sure your shoes have good stability support.

thank for your reply. lets brief myself for your more understanding :-

1. current shoe : brooks gts (under support catogory)
2. medium arch (based on water testing)
3. mild pronation (based on my wear mark at running shoe. hopefully i get it right).
4 : 76 kg for 5f11"

hopefully some master can share your experience with me.

Hi guys,

I have foot toe / nail problem here, after several 7 km / 10 km run, one or two of my foot nail became black and sometime painful. I dunno wat is the reason.

I do wear a cushioning shoe for every run.

Need your advice on how to cure / prevent this situation.

tq

Went to Garden adidas shop. OMG. I should wear netural shoe instead the current support one. High arch with mild pronotion.

Initially I got doubt on the advice. I always thought my foot is CACAT.
Wearing support shoe give me calve/heel pain?

Anyway, thank SI FUI.
