QUOTE(wu ming @ Mar 7 2010, 12:42 PM) As ccube said, the feel is indeed different. I feel road is more challenging with humidity, uneven surface etc., while mills is very convenient and has perfect surface.Think if you got access for both, you can alternate. |

QUOTE(tenno @ Mar 22 2010, 04:09 PM) Budget hotel ? AFAIK, there's no budget hotel in Putrajaya or Cyberjaya. Maybe U can check out in Puchong... There's couple of them in Sri Kembangan like the one that axlkey pointed out. However, many of them located in areas with sketchy surrounding... Meanwhile, I'll be running in 10k (nubcakes la saya |

QUOTE(ccube @ Mar 24 2010, 10:57 PM) Oooh, I didn't see that. I missed couple of pages lately. Meanwhile, I most probably will park at MMU since I got something to attend there before the run. With that, I guess I'm not able to gather at the starting point. So, if you see my bib - M12759 - below, just say hi. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(tenno @ Mar 26 2010, 01:18 AM) Nowadays it tends to rain pretty late in the afternoon in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya, around 5 pm like that. But then again, although Cyberjaya & Putrajaya basically in the same zone, sometimes if it rains in Putrajaya, it's sunshiny day in Cyberjaya... Agree on that. The weather can be totally opposite even though they next to each other.QUOTE(wacko_joy @ Mar 26 2010, 06:45 PM) How is your setlist looks like?QUOTE(mhb @ Mar 27 2010, 01:03 AM) guys. what are the distance of a complete round in a standard stadium running track? i always run at the most outer track but i dont know how to calculate the distance as im not sure bout the length Mmm...if I'm not mistaken...400m? QUOTE(jack208 @ Mar 28 2010, 12:12 AM) any 10k runners here tracked the total distance for the Energizer Race? My Garmin seems to indicate it's about 9.5K only. My Nike+ SportBand also indicates 9.52km. Though mine was not accurate but since your Garmin says so... QUOTE(chinleong @ Mar 28 2010, 01:52 AM) Hey peeps! Just back to my house. How's the marathon? QUOTE(bubb13s @ Mar 29 2010, 02:34 PM) i'll never know my exact finishing time as the results shows that i DNF. but oh well...its ok. as long as i know i made it back to the finishing line where my frens were cheering for me...felt proud of myself for completing the run despite the punishing heat beginning till the end of the run. What important is that you finished it. You go, girl! *high 5* was the last female runner btw. being trailed by ambulance and 2 police bikes. i think i completed it in abt 7 hrs 40 mins. |

Oh, I just remembered. Did anybody encountered this with their bib number? The behind almost gone when I finished the run.
Good thing I wear that shirt solely for running and also, a very nice marking to remind me where I should put bib number during any event. |

QUOTE(ccube @ Mar 30 2010, 01:10 PM) Yes BodyGlide or SportShield will stop chafing at any part of your body. 2XU compression wont guarantee there is no chafing but some of my customers told me it does help. 2XU main purpose is control muscle movement during run hence reduce the production of lactic acid, and also post race muscle fatigue recovery. Interesting. Will consider SportShield for the next run. I personally felt that SportShield is better and last longer. Your sweat doesnt wash it away. You gotta wash it with soap during your shower. My Tri customer told me it can last at least 13+hrs QUOTE(wacko_joy @ Mar 30 2010, 01:40 PM) I only got a small four spots that have tis prob. (the pin area)... Thank God when i have my extreme short shower from bomba.. it didn't make it worse. Alright, let me know how is it. my BIB still look ok despite w/o bib holder Will the stain goes away? I will check today after laundry |
