QUOTE(zazaza2009 @ Jul 8 2009, 09:42 AM) Monte Card VampBreak, wah cayalu la. Silver spoon la you. Err~ plastic or titanium doesn't mean anything. It should be not used to judge people for respect or status~In the film version of Quantum of Solace, James Bond has his Centurion Card rejected at the airport after "M" revokes all of his passports and credit cards. The card is black and the AMEX logo is very visible in the scene. James Bond's Centurion Card is also seen in the previous film Casino Royale, when Bond uses it to pay for a villa at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas. The black card is visible as he hands it over to the receptionist. Added on July 8, 2009, 9:44 amVery bloody menstr... rich ! Respect la. Tabik, tuan. I share the same opinion with most of the reader here. No point of having so much plastic. Unless you want to syok sendiri feeling.. @zazaza2009,
In actual fact, those cards in which vampbreak posted (and removed later) are all real; none of which are made of cardboard, none of which are supplementary cards either. I don't see Y those who's got handful of Platinum card need to explain themselves. Perhaps you're just a lil too sensitive that's all. And who knows, these people may be old uncles? *grins* @b00n, Sabar! |

In my limited knowledge on Centurion card, don't think it can be sup out.I think those cards are subbed and given by rich parents or uncles, and are not earned by self. Pls explain. Added on July 8, 2009, 10:44 am What nut? Peanut, Chezelnut or Nutmeg? Guess you are also same boat with them la, you are doing a good job, roll over ! Also, it's "pre-approved". Btw, it's always being a "myth" where we thought that only "famous" ppl are given until recently we see one in this thread. Maybe vampbreak is someone well known...who knows And tell you the truth, most ppl who lurk in this sections are old uncles like tinker pointed out. A lot is in their 30s also. So with this age range, usually it's us who sup it out to other ppl rather than us getting the sup card. |

OMG!
QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jul 8 2009, 01:18 AM) Hong Leong Bank's 1% Cash Back VISA Essential credit card is back ! Before this I was quite interested in this cc, as it gives 1% cash back without a max cash rebate limit per month. However, after enquiring with HLB CS just now, it is not as straightforward as what I thought. I have changed my mind now.Passed through a Hong Leong Bank branch just now. Saw this VISA Essential ad on the large tempered screen window. There is no information about the Hong Leong Bank 1% Cash Back VISA Essential credit card on their website. Please visit any of Hong Leong Bank 186 branches nationwide to obtain an application form for this card 1. Cash rebate is fixed at 1% and given to all retail transactions (excluding petrol), subject to a minimum purchase of RM100. 2. Cash rebate amount per transaction is rounded up. For example, if you spend RM100, the rebate is RM1. However, if you spend more than RM100 but below RM200, the rebate is still RM1. Let’s say your spending is RM199, you will still get a rebate of RM1, and not RM1.99. 3. AF – 1st year FOC. From 2nd year onwards, you ought to spend at least twice a month or RM8k per year, in order to get it waived. 4. No reward points are given All these stringent T&Cs, especially item 2, drive me away! |

Hi vamp, your answer to your PM,
My plat is enough for me, I want your collection but what is the use because I only use 1 card to pay all my things. Maybe you are a wild CC colectors like stamp collectors does with the Black Penny collection. What is the quali for Amex charge card and fees? I heard that Amex is not accepeted in some retail outlets, pls advise. Tq. Added on July 8, 2009, 11:31 am QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 8 2009, 11:27 AM) What I actually meant was that it is paid by someone else and not personally own. That is my opinion and is not judgemental to the real fact. If someone else pay for your card, that is considere a sub card also la. get the logic? What, you have a lose mouth? Always hahahahaha non-stop?This post has been edited by zazaza2009: Jul 8 2009, 11:31 AM |

QUOTE(zazaza2009 @ Jul 8 2009, 11:28 AM) Hi vamp, your answer to your PM, Last time, a lot of retail don't want to accept AMEX because of the higher merchant fees compared to VISA and Master. Tq. But since Maybank bought over the franchise, a lot of major retail outlets are already getting the merchant terminal for AMEX. In M'sia, AMEX under Maybank arms had turned into Credit Card (correct me if I'm wrong, limited knowledge on AMEX also). But if one holds the true AMEX, it's supposed to be a charge card; same as DINERS. |
