Hello,
Today I go to CIMB to apply a master card since I already have one Maybank Petronas gold visa. The staff told to to sign 3 form and she will fill in the blanks, and I say I would like to apply ONE master card only, and she said it is depend to the bank whether approve 2 or 1 credit card for you. What should I do if really approve 2 credit card for me, can I cancel it on the spot? |

QUOTE(bingozero @ Jul 7 2009, 04:29 PM) Hello, No you can't cancel on the spot. For CIMB, you need to send in a letter for the card cancellation. The staff did this for you coz, they can get something as comission / referral due to your multiple application. This trick has been discussed before.Today I go to CIMB to apply a master card since I already have one Maybank Petronas gold visa. Yes, it was like VOODOO magic when holding the form with so small letters fonts. Nevermind la, since it just consumed the points only and I did received the cash back when shop at Tesco Extra. I think 3000 points burnt just like that.
You Thinkerbell where stay? Been to Penang, food is cheap and nice. Traffic is better in Penang. So that sometimes if the card you usually use suddenly get rejected, you will still have a spare QUOTE(winner @ Jul 7 2009, 02:03 PM) I experienced at times that the bank at the same branch (could be the working attitude of staff) took more than 5 working days to clear a local cheque. Outrageous. The Public Bank branch i usually go to always clear my cheque issued other bank between 2 to 3 days top. You should file a complain |

QUOTE(zazaza2009 @ Jul 5 2009, 04:24 AM) My gold card from HLB has been upgraded to VISA Platinum a few days ago with given a RM30k credit limit. My annual income is just slightly over the 60k mark. oh boy. the way that you have just describe your platinum card (how you scrutinise its details) mimics precisely how i, articulately, describe gorgeous looking gals...The terms of the card is free for life for primary and one sub card. Terms is just swipe 2 time per month. The card look nice with the eagle logo situated at the back of the card instead at the front for gold and classic cards which I previously had from the same bank. It has a rainbow color hologram on the entire card, and the background color is dark silver. The PLATINUM wording is medium in size at the top left hand corner. I feel happy because I finally achieved the dream of owning a PLATINUM card. My question is, do you think it is fame and fortune to own such a card with this credit limit and such given terms? Besides they are all plastic cards. Anyone of you got the same terms for your PLATINUM card? for the love of God, it is just a blinking card! QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jul 7 2009, 04:00 PM) Mathematically speaking, that is not Ah Long. rm50 is pretty acceptable, i reckon. considering the fact that CBA charges something like a 20-ish% rate for cash advance.Even if you go to bank to withdraw cash money using credit card, the bank will also charge you the same RM50 charges. So where got any difference? This post has been edited by nokia2003: Jul 7 2009, 06:21 PM |

Walauleih~ The way you described it so detail and precise. I never know anyone who is carefully look at their cc. It's look like you really like the card. I'm a AMEX Centurion Black Card holder and trust me the card make me look stupid more than your platnium. Stay with your MIAU BANK Debit Card. Hmmm, for the love of God, it is just a blinking card! rm50 is pretty acceptable, i reckon. considering the fact that CBA charges something like a 20-ish% rate for cash advance. All the objects and living things on this world are GOD's creation, no matter what your religion is, it will be explained as such. I am a freethinker and my religion is Buddhist but I believe in GOD and it's every creation has it's function and meaning. No matter you believe in Ang Kong, Jesus, Lord or Allah, we live in peace at the beginning of time. Together with pre-historic plants and creatures (3 legged snakes and flying dragons maybe). To look carefully what your life really means to you, this is what I practiced. Take 2 days off from work, go to a quiet place during early morning like near waterfall or by the beach. Take a deep breath and start thinking what surrounds you, why are you here on this world. Think of your parents, try to imagine how they live during their younger years, before getting married and having you as a baby. They raised you up to become a succesful person. Priovide you with love, education and shape your future. Then pull out your wallet and take out your favourite CC and think deeper. Why you are honoured with this precious CC from a bank. Maybe the love and all the sacrifices from our parents to make us a succesful person finally rewarded and bore fruits. Swipe and buy OSIM chair and Bently cars for them. QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 7 2009, 08:36 PM) @vampbreak, As I said before, life comes in stages and every improvement in life reflects the correct decisions and achievements of ones undertakings. I think you have misjudge that the Platinum that I have now is the ultimate. Any ultimate will expires in time, just like world records being erased in the 2008 Olympics.Let them know U haf the Amex Centurion and they may just re consider ur application @ zazaza2009, Do U realli think one should take time to reflect as to Y the banks would honour them with Platinum card?! Er.. U definitely seem to see this card as the ultimate card, no? Definately I am aiming for higher CC, but as for now I am happy for what I have and should treasure it. Try to think this way, think about some people trying very hard to get the Platinum card and being rejected or having their Platinum cancelled. Think also that you still have something that others have lost. Not to say that one should pray the Platinum CC as something holy, but what I meant was this upgrade given by the bank signifies a step higher in your life. Yes, one should take time to refect the past and treasure love ones, friends and whatever they have achieved. So that the next generation (your baby) will heir your throne and be a succesful person. I believe in KARMA (not kamasutra), the teachings of Confucius and many parts of the Bible. So be a nice person will be rewarded in your life, and if not may your baby (next gen) be blessed. I have lots of personal dark episodes in my life and I learnt from them. I have nothing 12 years ago and I have tons of things 12 years later. I may not be holy as a monk and not as a very handsome hunk, but I treasure the pureness in my heart and the Tom Cruise side of mine. So keep it up man !
