Does it means the CL? If so, the CL for my DA Plat is the lowest among my Plat CC (even lower than my RHB Evo).

I hardly use my DA except for pumping petrol or buying books at MPH. Long ago applied DA with Degree for Gold Card then apply to upgraded to Plat. Well in the VI/World Application Form it states income requirement so I submiited my EA form together with the application form. A week later they sent me the cards.

tgeoklin, I guess you are a valued client of CIMB/DA and me not biggrin.gif

You are much too humble and gave me more credit than I am due blush.gif We are all but stats in the Bank's database but since you meet their min income requirements, then it no small feat and does justice to the cards you hold rclxms.gif

Thks for the new privileges update btw. Cheers

*I read their terms that their Platinum Free-For-Life need to swipe 36 times in one year sad.gif

The cardholders of this cc can only access to KL Plaza Premium Lounge. If you are not a frequent traveller, having access to premium/VIP lounges is not really something special. I normally do not utilise it because I always go to KLIA last minute. However, it is good for those who have a connecting flight. I went to Dubai airport lounge last week during a transit period, the facilities they have are much lesser than KL lounge.

Most of the banks offer free Plat cards, and the requirement is getting lower and lower over times.

So far what I see, DA World and AMEX the requirements for platinum are quite strict, yet most banks offer Platinum at a lower requirements(<RM90000), Well, prestige matters huh?

@air,
Mastercard Classic --> Mastercard Gold --> Mastercard Platinum --> World Mastercard
Visa Classic --> Visa Gold --> Visa Platinum --> Visa Infinite -- Visa Signature

That's what I mean by different categories lah `k? Also the above information may not be accurate because I don't follow all these one. And, like I said, what's the point of chasing after CC.

@alexwsk,
I believe the 200 free entry pisang was referring to is the EON MATTA CC. The SCB VI comes with a Priority Pass and that would gain entry to all affiliated priority pass lounges in the world.

I'd been using the Amex Platinum CC for >1year now so will continue to use it. As to the 2 Gold CCs... will decide when/if I receive them biggrin.gif

Well, can your AMEX platinum CC fees can be waived? (how about charge card version). Well, I guess Gold CC doesnt matter to you as you getting used to Platinum right?

@air,
The Amex Platinum Charge Card AF cannot be waived. The Amex Platinum CC however I guess depends on a case to case basis.

Good to know.

By the way, i was confirmed by one of the HSBC staff that the annual fee for HSBC VISA Platinum credit card will be automatically waived provided you swipe it once a month.

For those who apply for the HSBC VISA Platinum credit card pledged by Time Deposit (TD/FD), the credit line given will be 80% of the Time Deposit (TD/FD) pledged. So let say RM10,000 of Time Deposit (TD/FD), you will get RM8,000 of credit line.

And the highest is World Mastercard Elite. Currently not available in Malaysia.

Actually, VISA Signature comes first before VISA Infinite. VISA Infinite is the highest ranked card according to VISA International system smile.gif
