Just to update all.  I was at the TreatsFair again this time to purchase a Sony LCD TV with a friend - I didn't bother signing up for the Sony Card because I know it wouldn't be ready today hence I wouldn't be able to qualify for the 10x points either.

Also, the Amex Gold CC I applied on Fri afternoon still wasn't ready for collection so I just left and told them to send it to me; the CS was kinda apologetic but there's nothing he can do - initially he did ask if I could pick it up from 1U and I told him no!! LOL.

Aside from that, I got the free gift that they were giving away for anything U spend >RM300 on Amex Cards.  Nothing else to report except it's helluva crowded there.

Go midvalley today to apply for the AMEX Maybank card. The booth in entrance so very fast...within 5 minutes all kautim...then went down to do some shopping walk walk..then bump into a HSBC booth...then the girl there caught my attention when she say "FREE FOR LIFE CARD". I was shocked to know HSBC is giving Free For Life card. So i went ahead and apply for it lol..
But the catch is...to eligible for the free for life waiver..one must use at least 12 times a year per card. That is very easy but i asked why never advertised BIG BIG black & white out there to attract more peoples to sign up..the girl said Bank Negara forbid international bank to advertised it...while Maybank can do it anytime..dono how true it is..hmmm ...now wating for my AMEX and HSBC.

hey, I want to confirm something. The Amex card call these 5x, 2x offer points as Membership Reward Points. Other Maybank cards call it TreatsPoints...are they the same? One salesperson said it was the same...

Most IT merchants do NOT accept Amex *gulp*  Machines accepts Amex and there's no additional surcharges.

For IT merchant, they actually can mark up the item's price by 2-3%, but not let the consumers feel not happy because they noticed there are some "hidden" fees on Credit Card payment.

i got 2 SMS from maybank on Sat night.

1st 1 is at 8.25pm.
2nd 1 is at 9.37pm.

too bad, Sunday im not free, early morning went to broga hill but rain. then morning follow aunty car to PG.

now im checking my M2U and it show my islamic card and amex card.

btw, u shd got ur SMS since u applied much early than me on friday.

yeah, now waiting their notification letter for me to collect the cards .

I am thinking of cancel my CITIBANK card after installment finished as the customer service is bringing me a lot of trouble. Made me pay unnecessary fees.

It looks like I missed some "fun" in TreatsFair, as I am still not back to M'sia yet. Btw, I heard MBB is not as efficient as anticipated. Likewise, the level of service of MBB is expected apparently.

Yeah CS level was expected because muAHahhaahHAah our expectations were [i[low[/i].  As I reported, U didn't miss much lah.  Even the free gifts weren't as nice; the Amex bag I got remains in my house; no one wants it and mom's last resort was like.. give it to ur 5 year old cousin so he can take it to kindie with him! LOL
