@ks98,
It would be good if U could bring the documentations but if U have an existing CC (>1year) U shouldn't need any other documentations biggrin.gif

For what its worth, debts are good. All big time tycoons are always in debts way over their head & best of all is no one can take away your debts by force as opposed to cold hard $$$$$$$$$  tongue.gif

So go for it ......  don't say we aren't supportive, k  icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes you are correct, it depends on whether the debt is categorized as good debt or bad debt.. tongue.gif

So what is there to beli?! A lot of stuff ah?! I promised my sister a broiler for her new house so I intend to get it at the TreatsFair. She also wants a microwave but I told her I'm not sponsoring that one tongue.gif

PS: I'm still in my meeting and my next is at 8PM @ 1U so it doesn't look like I'll be dropping by MV now - don't want to get caught in traffic tongue.gif

Hmm....

You mean if you spend RM100 and the rebate is RM5 (5% rebate)...the points you get is 95, instead of 100points ?
*
it was like rm2 rebate = 1 point.... but the rebate for the mastercard DA in mph, kfc etc doesn't deduct points, only rebate using visa DA for hypermarkets....

Dear... we are trying to provide reasonable financial advise and pre-empt people on credit card risk, trap, interest rate, etc. We don't want our forummer friends to get into debts, along, worry, etc.

I think the main point we use CC and pay back full in cast is to get the points and rebates. Why not utilise the cards in a positive way ?
*
1 define 'reasonable financial advice'? straight away banning one's idea of getting a thing just because u think he is not suitable for that without answering based on the original questions? for those ppl who think one is not suitable for a cc based on wat u think he can't pay the debt? be not able to afford this month doesnt mean not able to pay for the next 2-3 months. and the 'reasonable financial advice' that i've got is merely telling me i'm dead and no the reason why i am dead.

2 i never like a lucky draw. when i want something and it worth the price then i wont care if theres a rebate or not. and i never care a tactic

I want to ask if I withdraw my paypal funds into my credit card account, is it possible to transfer these funds from my credit card account into my savings account ? Assume that the cc account and savings are from the same bank.

guys, just wanna ask some simple questions. I have just started work after graduation. This is the first month im working and will oni be receiving half of the salary as i joined in late. Im in need to apply for credit card, tink Maybank , to get the free interest monthly payment. I have to do this to help my dad with his medical condition.

1)My salary around RM2.7k. How much limit will they offer me?
2)Shud be ok to use offer letter to register rite?.I dun have any other loan or credit card or anything.

Tried reading this thread for more info, but would like more info based on the Maybank CC.

Thanks

StormZ, CIMB do offer 10 months 0% interest for education and hospital transactions, see below. Call CIMB up and ask them if it can be applied to your Dad's medical bills.

As for Maybank, you can try AMEX Gold CC where there is no interest charges for outstanding balance until end of year. However, your present income may not meet their income requirements. Just try apply no harm.

No, i don't think you can do that. if you want the cash, you need to do cash advanced where bank going to charge you.

Why not getting visa debit card such as the one from maybank or public bank. it is a better choice for withdrawal.

I see, so only cash advance from debit cards would not be charged interest? Does this apply to prepaid credit cards as well?

if it is debit card, it is your money, so no charge on the withdrawal. we don't call it cash advanced. yes should be similar to prepaid card but i don't see any prepaid visa card yet.
