My latest Amex's Amex Gold Credit Card, PosLaju does not allow my father to sign it. Only owner with IC that match can sign it. So I suggest either personally go collect at PosLaju or redirect to office.

My mom signed for my Petronas Visa card without issues... hmm.gif hmm.gif

@cute_boboi,
iYah I think it depends on the postman sending the stuff to U lah... AFAIK it's stewpid !  Let's get back onto CC talk.

@Dozz,
Looks like the picture I promised U will haf to be delayed again, this time indefinitely tongue.gif

Dear, it actually quite simple, they need a mykad to sign for it, nothing really against your maid. Fyi my maid has no problem whatsoever signing for such tongue.gif

1. You can use the letter of offer you received from your employer.

2. If you can't afford an item, DO NOT BUY it... you getting yourself in debt.

3. The banks will set the rate....

Conclusion: I don't think you are suitable to own a credit card yet.
*
2. i just dont understand why some people in this forum prefer to ask people to not this to not that instead of providing a better advice? maybe i LOVE to be in debt? why dont u let me decide whether i should get a cc or so? and i dont understand if u can afford an item, why do u still need a credit card, go ahead pay check or cash settle the payment once, and eventually this thread will be useless whats the point?

I think when you send POSLAJU, there's an option which let you select whether ONLY the intended recipient (with matching MyKad) can sign for it

@tgeoklin,
Yes I'm just wondering where the hell my stewpid maid was when the postman came! It's not like I live in a mansion where the grounds are so huge one can't hear the door bell when it rings !!!

Haven't gotten my hands on that Pos Malaysia slip but looks like I will need to go pick the stuff up tomorrow after work; a bit bz today! tongue.gif

Anyways, let's not bother about MY problems tongue.gif

@groggysquirrel,
I must have missed your first post; what was it you were asking again?

@Michael_G,
Just cause U don't qualify today doesn't mean U won't qualify for it later.

well, if u LOVE to be in debt, better go borrow from ah long - higher interest

most of the ppl here use cc because it's more convenient and can get extra rebates/reward points

CREDIT does not mean get into debt

For what its worth, debts are good. All big time tycoons are always in debts way over their head & best of all is no one can take away your debts by force as opposed to cold hard $$$$$$$$$ tongue.gif

So go for it ...... don't say we aren't supportive, k icon_rolleyes.gif

@StormZ,
Y don't U try to put your application in during the TreatsFair that's taking place from today till Sunday at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre? Perhaps they'll be more lenient with approvals at the fair? biggrin.gif

Good Luck!

PS: There is a possibility U be able to get up to RM5k CL but that's depending on the individual banks.

A. When they deliver to the stated address, ANYONE can sign it.
B. If you collect from PosLaju Center because they failed A., you need to go collect it (cannot authorise other people to go)

Side track to PosLaju delivery on CC.

Deliver to my stated address, i.e. home address. There are 2 check boxes. Someone already ticked owner recipient only. Even at home, must be me to sign and show IC.

Dear... we are trying to provide reasonable financial advise and pre-empt people on credit card risk, trap, interest rate, etc. We don't want our forummer friends to get into debts, along, worry, etc.

I think the main point we use CC and pay back full in cast is to get the points and rebates. Why not utilise the cards in a positive way ?

What kind of reports do U want?! I'm thinking, my meeting here finishes at 4PM (YES! I'm in a meeting whilst responding to this) and am available till 8PM so wondering if I should drop by the fair this evening or go only tomorrow biggrin.gif

Let me know what U want to know so I can check it out and report back later, if I decide to go biggrin.gif

Also, do we need to bring all the documents to the Treat Fair in order to get my CC on-the-spot?
