Yup BMI/body fat calcs without measurements don't work for bodybuilders, they're special case. I mean, they're bodybuilders, they should know their lean body mass is not in proportion to the general population and thus not use such calculators. But for 95% of the other people out there, it should be fairly accurate.
Actually my weight does not change much throughout years (not even 10%), but my waist and hips measurement changes are big (near to 20%). That is why I never think BMI works. If I weigh the same, but reduced in waist / hip perimeter after good diet and workout, it still reports the same BF%.
But the fact is, I gained muscles and burnt fats.

both oso dont pick. get a bicycle and do HIIT style for 30 minutes, then slow cycle for another 30 mins, hahahaAdded on April 30, 2009, 1:54 pmFor people who really seek to lose fats, not lose weight, here's something to note:
BMI is extremely popular, but popular doesn't mean it is good. Here's a quote:
"The BMI equation is extremely popular, yet it can be extremely inaccurate and misleading."
Google anywhere, it should return similar statements like above.
