today, I managed to up my cardio distance by 10%....will up more on SUnday........since sunday lunch will have party...lotof meat and other food.....

I have some pretty new but used Dockers pants at 36"...5 of them for sale. Anybody happen to need it, please PM me.....

Sigh, my body fat % increased from Dec 2008 16% to 19%. The reason is, my weight loss is due to muscle loss.

Last time i was able to do elliptical level 8 @ 70rpm for 45 minutes. My performance actually dropped compared to Nov 2008. I thought it is because I didnt exercise for 1 month during CNY period.

Now I discovered, my body fat weight remains unchanged while muscle weight decreased. That's the culprit that made me can't workout at level 8 and forced to use level 7.

I got myself a book to read last night. Found out that I need a lot more carbo and protein to maintain muscle. Last year, my diet was 2 meals per day, each meal 1/2 bowl rice with only vege. If hungry then eat fruit. Weekend I can eat only fruits. Sigh... this is a BIG mistake. sad.gif

Just an FYI for the challengers here, eat properly according to your body type, especially when you start to exercise.

I think eat less won't help much, eat right is better. I eat 6 meals a day starting from last week. And i still can lose 1kg++ compare to when i haven't start diet. Just eat less fats less sugar thing. Btw, just finished my HIIT and feel like lighter. xD

to lose fat, you have to cardio (running or elleptical) at fat burn heart rate (i.e. 65-80%) to optimise fat burning.....that's why many say your diet is scary.......

I think you should eat BCAA pre and post workout so that it could help you to prevent mass loss.

I have now 3.7% BF to reduce as my target..... hmm.gif

I cardio 5 days a week. Elliptical at moderate / moderate-high load more than 30 minutes. HR is always within fat burn --> cardio training zone.
Actually the diet i posted in journal just started 1-2 weeks. Before that my diet is also scary, 2 meals per day, with very very little amount of food. Breakfast just neslo. Lunch 1/2 bowl rice with only sayur, dinner sometimes drink oatmeal, better one will be 1/2 bowl rice with only sayur.

Erm... what is BCAA?

chargie - You may wanna consider lower the intensity i.e. lower the heart rate but extend the duration of the elleptical session......

BCAA - branch combined acid amino. Do google up to find more info.

After work I cannot do elliptical already, because got TKD trainings / courses to attend.
My only option now is lunch hour.

If I put to level 5, the first 20 minute I easily yawn, and the HR is very low, like 110 - 120 only.
level 6 it is good. I can talk and the HR is up to 130 - 140. Sweat is quite little thou.
level 7, the HR is about the same too, 130 - 145, but talking is a bit hard if prolonged, sweats well.
level 8, the HR will be 140 - 155. This one can only spout a few words, haha. Can sweat until 1/2 shirt wet.

by the way, level 8 intensity @ 66rpm is supposed to be my 60% - 70% HR under normal condition.
When sleep 6 hours, or body muscular ache, level 5 ady can shoot up to 140 - 155 HR.

Hi folks,

How we all doing? Feeling tired today. When one is looking at 500 people in a ventilation problem conference area, tired a bit lah. Sweating like buckets but dunno if that is good or not.

Cheat eats :
-1 small yam curry puff
-Dinner time! Buffet dinner (ok, I cheated on fish and beef) + 3 glasses of wine.

Exercise :
Useless ones today. Just walking briskly everywhere, standing here and there. 15-20 min of learning poco-poco haha! That was fun.

I had a good laff watching this video about Sarawak. It was a Quiz game for the Welcome Nite tonite. Was wondering why the committee was talking about the cow falling down from the sky.



The native guy in costume holding the handphone is a lawyer by education who now owns a Tattoo Studie in Kuching known as Borneo Headhunters. Cow was funny.

2 more days of convention. sad.gif

Very hard not to get on a scale lah.
