Do u think pharmacist will be 'flooding' in Malaysia in few years time?

hm i'm now taking a levels, planning to apply to university of nottingham. found out that we need to go for interview. what do they normally ask in the interview?

Hi, erm... I think there will be a lot of pharmacists in Malaysia, the same goes to other healthcare professionals... But the demand of pharmacists is (I would project) to be constantly there... As the role of pharmacists is very wide, there is always opportunities for job...especially with the liberalisation of PRP training...

If you seek job in gov sector, then there might be problem with employment but in private sector, currently many role of pharmacists are being taken over by graduates from other fields (e.g. chemist, microbiolgist, etc), so employment in private sector is not a very big problem.

So, 'flooding' in terms of number might happen, but the job opportunities is there for those who wanted to work...

Help needed. im have an IB diploma and wish to get a place at UKM or UM for Pharmacy (degree). i just filled in the UPU forms for STPM/Diploma setaraf but there is no PHARMACY among the choices. how could that happen? did i miss something? help help help...

Those are the rules... but you didn't know that IPTAs only accept stpm/matriculation?

because USM is an apex university.. the rest of the IPTAs you need to go through UPU..

Im a pharmacist intern in Australia atm, the AMH>APF anytime. Can you all get AMH is Malaysia ? and the cost ?

Can barely get AMH in Malaysia due to the lack of private universities using the Aus syllabus.

Kamal Medical bookstore sells for RM 700-1000 while ordering from our uni's in-house bookstore costs approx RM 600 (depends on the bulk etc).

Ordering online via the PSA website costs less, around AUD 130.

For my uni i am using the online version which is more than enough... FOC...

yeah, I got mine for AUD 115 =) Wow, its a steep price for Malaysians to get them eh. Its a great book though.

the price is actually relatively okay-priced if you don't convert back to RM. =/

Who's standard of minimum B+? Board of pharmacy?
