I want to ask how is the life of pharmacist..

(1) Are they also busy like doctors and received on call too?
(2) What they do everyday. Juz stay in the lab.
(3) Do they make/ invent medicine? bcoz my fren says some pharmacists didn't make drug.
(4)How much would they gain if they involve in industrial sector.
(5) Study life. They learn about drug only or there are something else. Thanks biggrin.gif

*In dilemma on which course to take...

the life of a pharmacist can be very varied depends on which industry you work in..but since you mention doctors then we will use the hospital setting as a comparison.

1) Yes, and yes, especially in places where there is a lack of pharmacist.
2) Ward rounds, dispensing, preparing IV nutrients etc... certainly don't stay in lab whole day..
3) If you working as a researcher in those drug companies then yes..
4) gain what? experience? money?
5) learn about many other things as well.

Try not use subject interest as your main reason of joining pharmacy... You should think why do ou want to make pharmacy as your career and do more research about the career prospects and figure out whether it's suitable for you or not. Since you have strong marks for bio I believe you still can make it through if you work hard.

Nope. He has to redo another 4 years if he wants to continue with the degree.
