hmmm... i think next time im gonna attempt 140kgs after 5x70kgs for warming up..and a good stretch..

oh yea... definitely bringing my belt this time... dem... that last 120kgs.... my hams could barely support the negative part of it...shaiiiiiiites.....

tomorrow i aint gonna walk.. oh yea..before the dead lifts i did 5x 40kg squats and 2x50kg squats....

nothing great i know..but consider that i had to clean those damn weights up on my shoulder before each set...aih... fatiguing.....

oh yea.. and i did 5 full pullups after each 2 sets of squats...

demmmmmmm..........

next time im gonna up the intensity....wanna time myself...reduce waiting time... after the 120kgs ..aih..had to take a short break....

my legs were vibrating........ O_O

After leg days, my legs don't vibrate or anything, they just go numb. sweat.gif Awesome feeling, though. =x

yea.. luv them leg days.... the heaviest weights..

so far... my stats..

bench : 70kg 3rep
squat : 60kg 5x7 rep ( probably can do 80kgs for 3-5 rep)
deadlift : 120kg...

1st target was
bench 1x bodyweight (reched) 70kg
squat bodyweight ( can reach) 70kg
deadlift 1.5 time body weight ( reached) 105kg

new target...

bench 1.5x bodyweight ( 105kg)
squat 1.5x bodyweight..(105kg)
deadlift 2x bodyweight (140kg)


a peculiar thing i noticed... guys in the gym when the squat..the angle between the hamstring and the calf maximum also reach 120 degrees..then they go up..partial squats.....

whats the use of this?...

when i squat my thigh is perpendicular to the floor... if i go lower i feel then my quads no longer supporting the weight... the weights is on my tendons and joints. which is a pretty bad thing i gues....

any advise on this.. pizzaboy?.. darkie?

So far, my PRs are

Benchpress - 70kg x 5
Squat - 70kg x 9
Deadlift - 80kg x 4 sweat.gif

Have to work on my deadlifts. xD

im an ecto turn into meso .. supposed to be a good thing though... need to work on my calves...thighs are turning out allright...

Im not darkie or PB...

There are differences in squatting stances. Wide, narrow, ATG etc. Going ATG is preferences, when i say preferences, you have to put your built into count, flexibility etc. Some are just not built to go ATG, some go wide. Some do go just at parallel where the maximum recruitment of the quadriceps are at peak. Watch the form esp your back posture.

AFAIK, darklight does smith squats, and it actually works for him, I actually tried once but unfortunately it doesn't for me. Check with him if you want to know how does the smith squats go about, maximum quad work i bet.

Check with pizzaboy if you want to know more about ATG squats, he does that thing every single day.

told u rite, should be able to do deadlift pretty easy.
i will try my 150kg pretty soon.
but dont think its easy.
coz once u hit a higher target, there is a limit where u need to take time to break the barrier.
cant expect to have a consistent flow till 300kg meh? =.=
every week go up 10kg, siao meh? wkakaka...

hmmm i dunno wats my record, but i dont think i am born for bench presses due to my fuked up shoulder.
i cannot go wide grip.
normally, i choose to grip a little narrow to minimize the pain on my shoulder as i bench press.
last i tried was around 90kg 1RM.

my squat i can do 90kg x 8, 100kg x 5, 110kg maybe 2-3
deadlift i need to use strap coz my grip is not strong at all. =.=
without strap i dont think i can carry above 140kg.
current stats are 125kg x6 for 2 sets. but i think can reach 10 reps but better be safe than sorry.

Hey you are actually right! Egonutrtions is selling the 5lbs at RM211.

RM199 is actually the member price, the non member price is RM248.90.

Wow, the price is getting lower and lower, once upon a time the 5lbs bottle was RM300+. I'm starting the wonder if there are people making fake whey by putting worthless placebo into those containers and sell them as ON whey at RM200+.

Is there a way to spot a fake whey and a genuine whey?

Guise,

I iz wanna ask, when you guise do leg press and squat, your both feet is straight or diagonal a bit? Which is correct and safe? I still see some guise doing squat both feet are diagonal.

How about leg press? Mine are diagonal. Some guise do straight.

Now I'm so confused.

I see people lockout on the leg press and they still can walk.

Don't lockout on the leg presses. Bad for 'em knees.

Half of it was dumex. lol.

hmm..actually i dont to ATG... somhow in between ATG and half squats i think.... my but is on the same plane as my quads which are parrelel... ..even 50 kgs this way...dem man...not easy....

if i do it on the safety bar then i would dare do more.......... yea.... need lots of work on my damn calves...aargh..
