Read 2 posts above your post to get custom ROMs and learn how to flash your Diamond. And NO, you can't update or flash with wifi. |

crimsonhead,
You can download the app directly from google. Just check the link out. Don't use the "send to my mobile option". There is another link below that allows you to download the app directly. http://www.google.com/mobile/default/maps.html |

You want it to vibrate + ring when receive call or vibrate only? You can change the setting here :
Start -> Setting -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications Select the event as - Phone : Incoming Call Select the Ring type you wanted. E.g. If you want the phone to Vibrate and Ring at the same time, select : Vibrate and Ring. In regards to the battery life, yes, its a known issue since the beginning. Some of us heavy users have 1 day battery life as well. If you wanted a longer battery life, either : - Get an extended battery which is thicker but give extra hours - Flash to other firmwares. Some say those cooked ROMs offers better battery life as well. - Flash to WinMo6.5 which some of the people here have tested and gives exceptional battery life. Again, those flashing of firmware can void your warranty and possibility of bricking your phone. So, do it with care |

Hey sifus.
I'm having a problem with my Diamond. Everytime I soft reset my phone, all of my text messages are erased before a certain time. (for example anything after the 24/5 the message will disapper! But before is still in phone) How can I prevent this from happening? It never happened before and this is the second time that some of my messages are erased! Very irritating! Thank you. QUOTE(Baronic @ Jun 8 2009, 05:42 PM) So sad. You think HTC warranty cover this ah? It better or else I will To be honest, I just don't see why the messages keep deleting itself. My SIM card is not full and also deleted some messages. Memory still has some space. So it's a bit cacat. Sigh sigh. |

I experienced this also. no choice, cant find a solution. well, my solution is, not to soft reset after u received a few sms recently. means like after u received a sms, wait like 5 hours of no sms, then soft reset. reduces the risk of losing it. |
