wat is soft reset and hard reset? wats the diff la?

Soft is like u restart ur computer, but hard is like format ur pc, u loose everything. U need to do soft reset every 3-4 days to clean up its rom for it to run smoother. For hard reset, usually u only do it when there is some serious prob wif ur phone which cant solve by soft reset.

yeah exactly wat fishys said, but hard reset is a must also when u flash to a new cooked ROM!

yaya, this is important coz some cooked rom will get haywired if u dont hard reset b4 use.

soft reset: take ut the stylus and u will see a small red button, press it and its soft reset!!

soft reset wont lose data

hard reset will wipe out ur data in ur phone memory, not internal(4gb) sotrage!

One more easier way, find a program called shutxp, u can soft reset it using that so that u no need to pull in and out ur stylus everytime u wanna soft reset.

Hi, I got a question regarding to my HTC Diamond Wi-fi signal. I found that my Diamond wi-fi signal is very low compare to other device. When I'm in a room, my friend Asus P835 getting full bar wifi signal, while my Diamond only get 1 bar. Does any Diamond owner facing this problem or just my Diamond got something wrong and need to send for repair. Please let me know how to solve this problem if don't want to send to SIS because I don't want to wait for 3 days. Thank you.

My radio version is 1.09.25.23, and my ROM version is 2.03.707.2 WWE, ROM date is 12/26/08.

hmmm...im using that also. Fine for me. Why dont u try some other radio and see the result. I dont think there is any hardware problem and sis wont entertain u.
