ND4SPD has cooked a pretty decent win mob 6.5 Rom with the latest build. The best so far with big icons and smooth transition. Could this be the one of the last build before the actual release?

Hi Porkchop, you can try the radio from Touch HD v1.13.25.24, but your phone must be security-unlocked first. So far, this is the best radio amongst the lot and GPS reception is 'legendary' to quote someone in xda. Battery-wise is also good.

I second this. Version 2 was great. Version 3 will be even more awesome.

I would say forget about Manilla 2d and TouchFlo 3d. Mobile shell should be the de facto mobile desktop interface on every WinMo device period.

But this doesn't stop those chefs at XDA to port it over to TD. Heck, I even saw a port for HTC Touch Elf the other day (even with OMAP processor).

I was using UDK's one for about a week and it is quite stable. I tried ND4SPD's one too. I'm going to try Seatone's one as I type now. It seems his one is based on RC1 which means almost final release. Most of the chef's are now playing with this version and should have something out once they've ironed out some bugs.

trying doing a soft-reset and see how much you are left with?

sometimes the battery does not give the right readings and after a reboot it will be a different story altogether.

try this program from htc addicts...the author claims that you won't need to reboot your device using this software...you can schedule to run it also...

or like what akachester said, install custom roms...this you have to be extra careful and there's always a disclaimer saying flash at your own risk...

Thankfully you're on prepaid. If not you'll faint on looking at your phone bill at the end of the month.

Turn off the data connection completely if you're not going to use it. Try updating through Wi-fi if you really need to update. If not, any program that requires update from the Internet will most likely turn on your data connection and download the data.

Can you be more specific? Did you flash custom or official Rom?

If the former did you install hard-spl first?

Try to get your phone in bootloader mode by pressing down volume, back key and soft-reset button simultaneously. Then plug in your USB cable and then flash again. If still cannot, most likely you've bricked your phone.

yes it can, there are some custom 6.5 roms around...but you better prepare before flashing because not only will it void your warranty, if not flash properly, you may ruin your device...flashing anything other than the original rom will definitely void your warranty...but you can recover back to the the original state in case of any warranty claims...

Just discovered this software for underclocking your Touch Diamond (in fact it can be used on all Qualcomm devices I think).

You can underclock your device based on profiles. Hopefully by doing so, it may improve or increase battery life. You can actually see the processor speed change when it hit the particular settings.
