ND4SPD has cooked a pretty decent win mob 6.5 Rom with the latest build. The best so far with big icons and smooth transition. Could this be the one of the last build before the actual release?

QUOTE(porkchop @ Mar 28 2009, 11:55 PM) Hi Porkchop, you can try the radio from Touch HD v1.13.25.24, but your phone must be security-unlocked first. So far, this is the best radio amongst the lot and GPS reception is 'legendary' to quote someone in xda. Battery-wise is also good. |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 18 2009, 10:36 AM) I second this. Version 2 was great. Version 3 will be even more awesome.I would say forget about Manilla 2d and TouchFlo 3d. Mobile shell should be the de facto mobile desktop interface on every WinMo device period. Added on April 19, 2009, 8:39 pm QUOTE(akachester @ Apr 19 2009, 06:38 PM) One question here, the WinMo 6.5 is it meant for TD in the first place? Would we be able to get it via HTC? Good question but I doubt there will be any official download for TD but I'm sure it will be the standard OS for TD2 instead. But this doesn't stop those chefs at XDA to port it over to TD. Heck, I even saw a port for HTC Touch Elf the other day (even with OMAP processor). This post has been edited by nas: Apr 19 2009, 08:39 PM |

QUOTE(X.E.D @ Apr 18 2009, 08:23 PM) 6.5 ROM - use either uDK's 21500 or ND4SPD's 21500. I was using UDK's one for about a week and it is quite stable. I tried ND4SPD's one too. I'm going to try Seatone's one as I type now. It seems his one is based on RC1 which means almost final release. Most of the chef's are now playing with this version and should have something out once they've ironed out some bugs.I couldn't download from Rapidshare due to the frikken crappy speed so I got the uDK's. Flash as usual. BACKUP AND SYNC YOUR PRECIOUS HONEY CONTACTS AND DOCS FIRST After that, go to the WM6.5 theme thread in XDA- Devs. Download & Install 2 cabs (Trustedcerts and the Mystic thingy) The really nice UI is the Windows 7 Titanium project with the Blue skin made by the same author. |

WHY CANT THE BATTERY DRAIN AND LET ME CHARGE IT SO I DONT NEED TO WORRY ANYMORE sometimes the battery does not give the right readings and after a reboot it will be a different story altogether. |

htcAddicts_cleanRAM_v1.1.8.8.zip ( 59.17k )
Number of downloads: 22or like what akachester said, install custom roms...this you have to be extra careful and there's always a disclaimer saying flash at your own risk... This post has been edited by nas: Apr 28 2009, 09:38 PM |

If not you'll faint on looking at your phone bill at the end of the month.Turn off the data connection completely if you're not going to use it. Try updating through Wi-fi if you really need to update. If not, any program that requires update from the Internet will most likely turn on your data connection and download the data. |

QUOTE(LHleong @ May 2 2009, 03:45 PM) Hey does anyone knows how to solve this problem ? Can you be more specific? Did you flash custom or official Rom?My htc touch diomand is hanged after I flashed the rom . Tried hard reset but the problem is still there . Now it just hang on the bootscreen no matter what solution I had found on other forums. Please help , anyone .... If the former did you install hard-spl first? Try to get your phone in bootloader mode by pressing down volume, back key and soft-reset button simultaneously. Then plug in your USB cable and then flash again. If still cannot, most likely you've bricked your phone. Added on May 2, 2009, 9:21 pm QUOTE(wen9x88 @ May 2 2009, 03:56 PM) how come when i sms i saw this message come out ? QUOTE(ahripmovic8 @ May 4 2009, 01:27 PM) hye..noob question here..is my diamond can be flashed to use WM6.5??is there any effects by flashing the rom?will my warranty void? yes it can, there are some custom 6.5 roms around...but you better prepare before flashing because not only will it void your warranty, if not flash properly, you may ruin your device...flashing anything other than the original rom will definitely void your warranty...but you can recover back to the the original state in case of any warranty claims...if my diamond can be flashed, could someone please give me the instructions??thank you..sorry so many question lol..:-P |

Just discovered this software for underclocking your Touch Diamond (in fact it can be used on all Qualcomm devices I think).
You can underclock your device based on profiles. Hopefully by doing so, it may improve or increase battery life. You can actually see the processor speed change when it hit the particular settings. http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009...icClock-13.aspx |

QUOTE(rubberalmy @ May 15 2009, 11:34 AM) Anyone else tried wm6.5 roms yet? You can try makeveral's BSB version which is stable and receive good feedback. Or wait for NRGZ28's highly anticipated Energy series Rom.Would appreciate comments like previous posts regarding udk's 6.5. I'm thinking of trying out 6.5 roms, but hoping to find one that's not too buggy. |
