Nope.even if i have lagging whn browsing thru file is bcoz my proc is busy.usually the hdd led wont blink when im idle or not busy.

From the serial checker below, i try to check my serial and it's said that "Your drive is NOT affected".
http://support.seagate.com/sncheck.html But then i try one by one the serial from msfn forum, many of the fail hard disk also said said "Your drive is NOT affected"... Now make me more miserable because i also using firmware SD15 from Thailand.. It's just waiting the timebomb to explode... |

I'm having Model: ST3500320AS, Serial: 9QM3BZ5N, Firmware: SD15 but so far it's behaving fine? Perhaps it's because I'm having it to store my backup file as I'm having my OS on another 2 disks in RAID-0 so lesser activity on my 500GB

it died twice,sent for warranty once. now dead and sold to besi buruk together with my old motorbike parts |

i bought a 500GB during pc fair and it had problems from day one.
firstly, partitioning problems, then slow to boot and got ticking sound during startup. scary. i'm leaving it on 24x7 until i buy a wd 1TB to back up.  |
