firstly, partitioning problems, then slow to boot and got ticking sound during startup. scary. i'm leaving it on 24x7 until i buy a wd 1TB to back up.

i bought a 500GB during pc fair and it had problems from day one.
firstly, partitioning problems, then slow to boot and got ticking sound during startup. scary. i'm leaving it on 24x7 until i buy a wd 1TB to back up. |

successfully updated my 500GB. now will get different hdd brand to hedge against such problems.

just got back my rma 500gb hdd with a 'certified repaired' hdd after 3 weeks.
