QUOTE(MeruChan @ Feb 16 2009, 09:09 PM) LOL GPS... I don't like using it as it doesn't necessarily point out the best route. Note that shortest route doesn't equate to easiest route. I prefer using Routeplanner to plan my journey and then use Melway during the drive. Google Maps is useful too since you can preview the place you're heading to using the streetview option. QUOTE(hihihehe @ Feb 17 2009, 07:26 AM) three got offer iphone meh? Three don't have any iphone bundle with their plan, but if you have an iphone and it's not contracted to any telco then Three has among the best data/price ratio in the market. So your solution would be go to Optus and buy the phone and pay the unlocking fees for it, then go to Three and sign up for their plan.btw touchdown at melbourne now..not so cold but sunny need get a slp 1st coz cannot slp on the place..thx to the babies around But we will see since Vodafone and Three will merged their Australian operation soon. |

You still can do that, and your student waiver should exempt you from any processing fee.QUOTE(quantum @ Feb 17 2009, 01:52 AM) source Close, but that is not the full story.A resident is permissible to carry out of Malaysia, foreign currency notes counting travelers' cheques, not more than RM10, 000 per person. You can only bring out RM1000 in cash out. However, you can bring out foreign currency and travelers’ cheque's not more than RM10,000 worth. That said, you don't have to bring so much money with you! I walked around with about A$200 in cash when I first arrived. Added on February 17, 2009, 1:20 pm QUOTE(december88 @ Feb 17 2009, 10:55 AM) I wouldn't use the present tense. The merger still has to go through ACMA, ACCC and the shareholders. Through I concede the merger will probably go through. This post has been edited by haya: Feb 17 2009, 01:20 PM |

Hi, just wondering anyone here studying or studied in Deakin Melbourne Campus before?? I'm going for my post graduate studies in a few months time. Wondering if it is best to stay in Burwood or other places which are more nearer to the city but far from uni.
Any advice? This post has been edited by adrianteo: Feb 17 2009, 02:01 PM |
