Juz wanna ask...does any1 know how much to service a car in aus? eg: toyota, Honda, volkwagen...
*
It varies between workshops, and different servicing intervals charge differently depending on the parts that require changing. And of course, the price varies between brands. So no definite answer for you, sadly.

onelove changed course/uni twice........started in perth in another course, switched to ucsi medicine, and now going to utas for medicine.......

a new visa is required whenever you have a change in your course..........as the student visa is course and uni specific........

lol you even remember which uni other people went to... sweat.gif

UTAS campus map:

One thing worth mentioning regarding Sandy Bay... The casino is just a stone's throw away from uni tongue.gif
Go along Sandy Bay Rd and you'll find almost everything you need as a student... food, supermarkets, bank...

This info's probably not much help to you if you've never been to Hobart before... Once you reach Hobart Airport just grab a map of Hobart town and it'll suffice in getting you places that you want to go. Hobart's pretty small and most places downtown are accessible by foot.

I'm not sure about other universities, but in UQ and QUT you don't exactly stay in your faculty area. You will be allocated to classrooms in other faculties for the non-specific subjects (where all you need is a room).

Edit: before people start asking. v3.1 will go live. I'm still touching things up, but I have to run out for a while. Shout out to the admin who helped me clean up the front page.

Anyway, there are sections of Lowyat.net members who think this thread had outlived it's time, so this is the end of the 4th iteration of Studying in Australia.

Its been nice folks. Try to be civil and coherent in the new version eh? smile.gif
