sure film slr can do bokeh
infact it can do bokeh easier compared to entry level DSLR. only down side is you need to develop the pictures then only you can see the results |

QUOTE(jaer @ Jan 27 2009, 10:05 PM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : dlsr It's REALLY hard to find a D70 in the market now, because it has stopped production for so long already.Budget: 1.4K Your Location: kch Preferable brand : nikon Type of photography u want to do : anything Any specific models in mind? : d70s wit lens + macro Any specific features u want? : With RM1.4k you can get a Sony a200 kit. Go for it, but if you can increase your budget to Rm2k, you can choose from the 1000D or D60. QUOTE(jcheok2 @ Jan 28 2009, 12:29 AM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR camera Agreed with Deca - increase your budget and get a D90.Budget : RM3000 include kitlens Your Location : Seremban Preferable brand : Canon or Nikon Type of photography u want to do : start with everything then c what i like Any specific models in mind? : 450D, D80 Any specific features u want? : >5 focus point.. ermm just want something which can AF with most of the lens ?? Or if you're a die-hard Canon fan, get a used 40D kit. Very cheap already since the release of the 50D. QUOTE(kenshee @ Jan 28 2009, 09:14 AM) To buy what? Where is your preferred spot? Elaborate a bit more and we might be able to help you. |

Type of camera/lens/accesories : Compact PnS
Budget: <1000 Your Location: Penang Preferable brand : Canon, Fuji Type of photography u want to do : Casual Any specific models in mind? : Fuji F100fd and Canon Powershot SD880 or maybe Nikon P5100 Any specific features u want? : Preferable to have manual controls Im looking for a camera for my parents (also I would use sumtimes). I need something thats easy to use and gives great image quality. I've narrowed down my list to Fuji's F100fd and Canon's Powershot SD880. Altho both are similar in pricing, Fuji has better noise control, and powershot has better LCD and battery life. Please help me choose~ |

QUOTE(syafix @ Jan 29 2009, 06:31 PM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR My honest opinion? You'll learn faster with a DSLR.Budget: Below 1K Your Location: Melaka Preferable brand : Nikon, Canon Any specific models in mind? : 350D if cannot get DSLR, i just take Nikon F75 film slr just wanna learn first Why? Simply because you get to shoot more with a DSLR and get to see your shots immediately. And you'd know more or less how to correct any faults. So, try try try to get a DSLR? |

QUOTE(syafix @ Jan 29 2009, 06:31 PM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR If you are already on a tight budget, then you better not get a Film SLR. I think you will have a budget problem when it comes to printing your pictures. Get a DSLR, hunt for a used Nikon D40 or a Sony A100 (search ebay, I think there's someone in Australia selling for less than 1k and someone in Malaysia selling for slightly more than 1k). Maybe tough to find it at that price. (Learn use DSLR, SLR too expensive to be used to "learn"). Just my opinion ... When is ur fren's birthday? For compact cams I always liked Panasonic, and Canon.
It depends on what type of photography your friend takes. |
