Hi
Just wanna clarify again on the New Interest Rate

So if I am a new CC holder.. During my first 12 months I am able to settle at least my minimum payment promptly for all consecutive 12 months. Do I straight get 13.5% starting on my 13th month onward?

&

Currently am I enjoying 17.5% on the new rate?

Just to confirm, thanks

both answer will be yes but it will only effective on 31 march 2009

i believe this has been discussed before, but after browsing for couples hours in the LY.net, still can't find anything.

recently i has been offered for Maybank Platinum Visa card upgrade from Maybank Visa Gold. i have been getting annual fee waiver every year from them for all my gold cards by giving them a call. does Maybank normally offer annual fee waiver for Platinum card?

thanks

no worry, you can get the annual fee waived when they charge you by calling up the CS. The only card you cannot waive is Amex plat from Mbb, so far i have no problem asking them for waiver.

Just to add, you need to be a consistent spender to enjoy the annual fee waiver. I am not too sure about 100% waiver, as I have an annual turnover of about 200k on my card, so I did get a waiver. Certain bank will deduct your points for the waiver.

Hi bulkbiz,
Should not be a problem for Citi to waive the AF for u if ur Citi cc is active in usage.
Call their CS and ask for it. Just manage to waived mine last month. tongue.gif

Wow, are really willing to pay the staggering annual fee ? And by the way, i thought AMEX Plat Charge Card is available by invitation only ?

By the way, are you going to apply for CIMB World Mastercard and SCB Visa Infinite ?
